“On June 1, 2003 I opened the doors at Alibis Sports and Spirits for the very first time. It was, and has been a dream come true for the past 21 years getting to serve my River Rats, locals, residents, Dome-goers, train riders, old friends, and those that just happened to stumble in. It’s hard to believe that people BORN on the day I took those keys can now come in and drink. Alibis has survived the Spurs leaving the Dome in ‘03, the big recession of ‘08, and of course, COVID that shut us down for months in 2020. And we survived because of 1 thing…YOU! My guests, my patrons, my regulars. You ARE my family, and I can’t thank all of you enough for calling Alibis “HOME” for the past 21 years! Cheers!” - Nick Johnson
