I commend the efforts of our city staff (code enforcement, business registration, Police, licensing and public works) foe their continual efforts to enforce, cite and intervene these nuisance vendors. Many of these vendors are non-compliant and pose dangerous impacts due to the health and food code violations. I am grateful for their enforcement sweeps throughout all areas of our city.
More than ever, we need to double up our efforts and protect our businesses and residents along with our collective quality of life as a city.
It is indeed a great pleaure to celebrate the FIRST inaugural flight from our SBD International Airport to San Francisco International Airport. Many thanks to our airport commissioners and staff as well as Breeze Airways

SOUTHERN DISTRICT CLEAN UP
Last week our Southern District Resource Officers responded to multiple citizen complaints regarding blight and illegal dumping in the area of 4th Street and Shirley Avenue. As you can see there was a remarkable transformation to the area after the clean-up was complete.
Our District Teams strive to be responsive to the needs of our community and this is another example of those ongoing efforts. San Bernardino residents are encouraged to report areas of concern on the GoSBCity app available in the app store on your mobile devices.
Remember, if we all work together we can make San Bernardino a better place to live, work, and play!
Hometown Heroes is BACK 🇺🇸and grateful to bring this important tribute to the men and women of our community
Purchase a brick and honor your special hero…
ARMED FORCES DAY 🇺🇸: The third Saturday of May is a special day to pay tribute to the exemplary people who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
The Norton Air Force Base Museum is home to the 63rd/445th Norton Veterans Group Memorial to Military Veterans of the Inland Empire. Each brick is a remembrance to the military veterans (and civil servants) who served and worked at Norton AFB and the countless airmen and soldiers who passed through Norton to meet the Nation’s call for duty.
Honor your favorite veterans today by purchasing a brick in their honor while supporting the museum. https://hubs.li/Q01bM3sk0

20 ARRESTS AND EIGHT CARS TOWED DURING SUNDAY FUNDAY ENFORCEMENT OPERATION
San Bernardino residents aren’t entertained by all the street takeovers and sideshows, but there were some takeover crews out Sunday night that haven’t gotten the message yet. When they hit San Bernardino this past Sunday night, our patrol officers and enforcement teams were out there to spread our message in person.
We disrupted meets at several locations throughout the city, resulting in 20 arrests, eight cars towed, and six other people cited for various violations. We don’t want to forget to mention the great work they did apprehending a guy on a quad who was attempting to break into a building. We towed that one too. Check out the photos from Sunday’s enforcement program and we’ll see you out there next time.

TOWED FOR EXHIBITION OF SPEED
We can’t make this stuff up! This guy was in the area of Waterman and Baseline yesterday showing off his, “driving skills” and racing around in circles when the police showed up. He didn’t slow his roll though and made a few more laps before taking off. The pursuit was on but we caught him in the end. We towed his ride and gave him a lift to jail where he was booked for felony evading. We’ll see you all out there again tonight.
Update from our SBPD… thank you patrol for your efforts. 🚨🚓
Just spotted a public works project (yes at 11:15pm!!) — street stenciling crew in our downtown corridor.

In coming weeks, this same area will see major road improvements.
