Quick reminder on a few things as we know there are a lot of things happening at school this week!

- Book Fair: The Book Fair is still going on till Saturday. Classes still have time slots today and tomorrow but if you would like to come in and buy additional books please stop by today after school till 2:30pm and/or Saturday during the Pancake Breakfast from 10:00am-12:30pm. 📚

- Bake Sale: This Friday Bake Sale is on again after school. Please come buy some goodies and snacks to help our 5th graders get to Outdoor Ed. 🍪

- Valentine Friendship Grams: Sales will be happening this Friday at Bake Sale and at the Pancake Breakfast this Saturday. Saturday will be the last day to buy grams so please come visit us to not only make a friend’s day better but also help support our 5th graders. 🩷

- Crab Feed Tickets: In-person ticket sales will be happening this Saturday at Pancake Breakfast. If you would like to purchase tickets without the Eventbrite fee, please come visit us on Saturday. In-person ticket sale times and locations for next week will be posted tomorrow. 🦀

Just a quick reminder that we will have the Book Fair at school starting next week and want to make sure kids are ready if they want to purchase books and other items. We will be sharing the schedule Sunday with everyone as well as a link to sign up to help if you wanted too.

If for some reason your child is unable to purchase anything on the day their class is assigned, the Book Fair will also be open after school Tuesday and Thursday as well as Saturday. Please see different payment methods on the flyer attached.

Just a quick reminder that we have a couple of events happening at school this week, Crab Feed In Person Ticket Sales and Bake Sale!

PTA will be selling Crab Feed Tickets in person at school from 1:00pm-2:00pm by Gate 2 this week Wednesday and Friday. PTA will accept payment in the form of cash, credit, or check.🦀

Our Bake Sale is also back on Friday of this week so we would love for your to visit and help raise money for our 5th graders to get to Outdoor Ed this year. Please see the attached flyer to help donate or volunteer. 🧁

John Muir Crab Feed 2024! Join us at the John Muir Elementary School Crab Feed 2024 for an evening to remember with mouthwatering crab, dancing, and community!

👀 I spy with my little eye…the official invitation for John Muir’s 2024 Crab Feed! All this week teachers will be putting invitations in your Jaguar’s folder so keep an eye out for your invitation and keep this reminder on your refrigerator to ensure you purchase your tickets. Some highlights that we wanted to share with you:

(1) The event is on February 24, 2024 from 5:00pm-10:00pm;
(2) Tickets are $75.00 per person
(3) Childcare will be available on-site at an additional cost of $25 per child (Staff of Champions have graciously made themselves available to provide this service)

We are proud to partner with Parent’s Night Out (PNO) who have steadily brought the John Muir community Trunk or Treat for many years and will be volunteering to enhance the night’s festivities;

Reminder that this weekend is our Math and Hot Cocoa event, Saturday, December 9th at 10:00am-12:00pm. We will need a headcount for this event so please make sure to RSVP by clicking the link in the Bloomz announcement or messaging us so we can send it directly. We really hope to see you all there!

Please come and join us on Saturday, December 9th from 10:00am-12:00pm for our Math and Hot Cocoa event at John Muir! John Muir is partnering with Julia Robinson Mathematics to bring fun play based math activities such as puzzles, building and more for our students to enjoy, learn and love all while hanging out with their community and drinking some hot cocoa. This event is for all grades and we would love to see you there!
