So you retire, you want to stop paying for phone and internet and forward your office number that you have had for 40 years. after a 10 minute wait on the phone that I made the call on The nice gentleman on the phone was great but after 30 minutes explaining what I wanted was to cancel my service and have a and the new number is.... at AT&T wanted my SS #, My DL and my DOB. I told him I have responded to your two possess authentication text, I have giving you my account number and my password. 40 freaking years and they have to set up a new account to say the new number is????? at a cost of 35.00 a month. He said yes that is right sir we offered that service for 30days but not any longer. Me, Well thank your for that information. Please cancel my service. I remember American Telegraph and Telephone (At&T) was a company that offered customer service, so interesting, this is what customer service is.

43+ years of fixing stuff for some amazing people, it was a GREAT ride! But, I am done with Astro. This will be the last signature you will see with Astro Appliance Service on it. My health/AGE just will not let me pull out your 60 inch 12 burner Thermador range anymore or your double oven with a microwave and a warming drawer in it or your stacked laundry in a freaking closet. This is no surprise, it has been in the works for years, I thought I could make to 65. Yeah but NO. LOL. Thank YOU to more then 150,000+ homes I have been in, gotten to know customers and had a lot of fun. Thank YOU!

As a Public Service Announcement DO NOT SELF CLEAN YOUR OVEN BEFORE THANKSGIVING or CHRISTMAS unless you want to see a service person and you have an other way to cook. I say this every year (40+) and every year someone does not believe me. They do not have an oven for the holidays. If your oven is going to break it will in self-clean. THE OVEN HEATS TO OVER 900 DEGREES, if something is going to break it will at that temperature for sure. NO Joking!

I wounder if there was a Yelp, Facebook, Google or Nextdoor for businesses to rate a customer how people would treat service people? I love most of my customers, but a few of you really need to look at yourselves. I am NEVER late. If you can’t follow state and county Covid policy I can’t do service for you.
