Laurel Street Arts is looking to hire a part-time Sales Associate who is friendly, motivated, and independent. This position would be perfect for someone who’s looking to work in a creative environment among like-minded people and willing to learn new skills. Weekend availability is a must. Training will be provided. Email the studio if you are interested!

We just hosted a small private birthday event and it was so fun — so many adults come in with their children and say, “I want to do this for MYSELF!” We are so glad this happened and thankful you hosted with us! Happy birthday! 🎉🎨

🎨After School Art classes are on the website!🎨

Join us for an adult Glass Workshop on July 24th at 6:30pm. You will learn to cut glass and create this beautiful poppy design! It is a 5x10” glass dish (or can be left flat for decor!) Bring 🍷and 🍫 and enjoy an evening out! We will only have 10 spots for this class!

The sprinkler system was set off during to a small fire at our neighbors - thank goodness no one was hurt, but water seeped through our wall and we don’t have WiFi or phone services today. Hopefully we will be up and running tomorrow!

Today we had a visit from a Financial Math class from who wanted to learn more about owning and running a small business. It was fun sharing about passion, drive and what it takes to grow a business (especially through a pandemic!) We touched on some - boring 😬 - things like taxes, rent, insurance… (sorry to my accountant, landlord and insurance agents) but also talked about mark ups, real costs and the importance of supporting small businesses to ensure a thriving community. And of course, they painted some pottery 🎨

➡️NEW FEB. DATES OUT➡️ These are one time, small group, wheel classes for those interested in trying out the pottery wheel before committing to a full 5-week session. Join on your own or take all four spots for you and your friends. An instructor will be with the group for the entire duration of the class. There is no expectation that you create a masterpiece, but we hope you do!

Cost: $70 for the class & $30/piece that you choose to fire

Come support three AMAZING local artists this Saturday from 11am-7pm. Let’s show them lots of love and clear out their beautiful inventory!
