Did you know that if you break open a sand dollar, five dove-shaped pieces emerge?

Doves are often used in art and literature as a symbol of peace and goodwill.

This is my Custom order “Sand Cast Sand Dollar”! Made from .999 Fine Sterling, my Sand Dollars feature a clients requested birthstone flush mounted in the center of Sand Dollar!

Sand dollars are actually burrowing sea urchins. There are so many legends and stories behind the sand dollar that make the finding of them even more valuable than just a regular beach artifact.

The delicate control, the mindful cautiousness, the feel of the heat and the respect for the flame, come together in beautiful harmony to pull a creation together.

This brings, what was once just living in my imagination, has now come to life!

It’s now become tangible, a reality so to speak. To feel, touch, hold and wear for the world to see!

Everything is put into each creation, heart, love, and soul. Each piece captures a beautiful feeling and a part of me, that is not just a part of me, but a beautiful expression of the heart.

This is one of my favorite pieces. It was not only difficult, but even feeling sometimes impossible to create.

It is said that “creativity takes courage”, and it does, but it also takes a lot of willingness to try something new, different and challenging. From this growth springs! New elaborate designs flood my imagination until I can’t even sleep!

Sand casting with crystals in place is not an easy feat!

Pouring in the molten hot liquid silver sometimes fails and the ring doesn’t totally form! Then it has to be cut up to get out any crystals that happen to lodge in the failed piece and start the whole process over again! Only after I cuss like a sailor at the failed piece! 🤣

I’m just so super happy when the molten silver flows just right and the crystals behave themselves too!

“Sand Dollar Pendant Necklace”

Real Sand Dollar Pendant, sea life in bronze, .925 Sterling Silver, prong setting, Silver Plated necklace with seashells, one of a kind and handmade.

This is an actual sand dollar I got at Bolinas Beach California. I have coated it with UV resin to protect and preserve its natural beauty.

The bronze sea life depicts the sandy beach where it once lived.

The bronze part is made from “Metal Clay”. Metal Clay is a fairly new process where it starts out in a soft clay form and is fired in a very hot kiln until the organic binding substrate burns away and leaves solid beautiful bronze.

The 26” necklace has a handmade easy-opening front toggle clasp that I made with melted sterling silver. The chain is silver-plated and is accented with real seashells in an asymmetric fashion!

The pendant is 1 1/2” wide x 2” tall.

Definitely a VERY beachy vibe! Celebrate the ocean life style!

Mama Sea Turtle and Babies!

I finished this pendant before I got so sick and ended up in the hospital!

This Super Sweet Sea Turtle, I made from sand cast mold, is looking up at you.

This pendant excludes a little sand dollar, a cute sea horse, a sweet starfish and a tiny sea shell!

Plus 3 adorable little baby sea turtles following right behind their mother!

It comes with matching “threader earrings” too!!

It’s so good to be starting to feel better! I want my old self back! But I’m a little impatient!

Sand Dollar with Peridot crystal

With this piece I made a mold of a sand dollar out of red clay. I then melted sterling silver and poured the molten silver into the mold, creating this natural and organic looking pendant.

Sand Dollars are often called “mermaid coins” of the coastline. They have been known to bring good luck!

It is believed that the Peridot is the crystal of beauty and light!

Wearing a piece of Ocean Vibes, you magically feel connected to the ocean and all the sea creatures in it!🌊
