This month I celebrate FOUR years since starting my own interior design business! I have such admiration and gratitude for those who mentored me, challenged me, and designed alongside me. What an awesome path I landed on— never thinking that a 7th grade elective drafting class would lead to a career! Feeling extremely lucky + happy to be in this place in my life, where I am part of creating happy places for fantastic people. 🤍

Happy place at the entry of the Powder Room at our modern desert luxe project in Summerlin, NV. Great storage for games & puzzles, perfectly located near the main living space but out of the way— packing both function & style into one.

Graystoke Quartzite adorns this bathroom off of the home office. We love the soft grey veining and masculine vibes of this space.

Dream a little dream in this owner’s bedroom! 💭 Just installed this week and the clients are thrilled with the results!!! Nothing makes us happier than seeing faces light up when a client walks into their new home for the first time! 🤍

Layers make the bed. Contrasting layers add so much interest starting with a wall treatment— here we did just did a couple of simple stripes, then an iron bed, and basic Target bedding that had some texture and pattern. No budget-buster here but still a great look for this teen room in a recent model home project. 💙

What a difference artwork makes in a home. It adds such character, interest & personality! Here’s one of my personal faves from our most recent completed in San Clemente.

Fun laundry floors make fluffing and folding just a little more entertaining! Here we used Arizona Tile’s Paros Navy & White Matte hex tiles with Custom Building Products Oyster Gray grout.

Life is short. Spoil your dog. 🐶 Our client asked us to design a room and bathroom all for her fur babes. Gotta say that was pretty fun. Those pups still seem to prefer the human sofa though! 🤍🐾🤍

Sunday funday starts here! Waking up well rested surrounded by natural elements. I absolutely love this beautiful pair of photographs of birch trees in the snow hung above the bed. My client and I found our favorite local gallery in Park City— McMillen Fine Art Photography— and these were irresistible!

Happy Sunday! Hope you are waking up to a space that wraps you in comfy linens— one that inspires you to relax a little longer… in this case while watching the glimmering ocean reflect the morning sunlight outside your window.

Our San Clemente beachfront project is 95% complete! 🌊 Snapped a sneak peek in the early morning light before I headed out yesterday morning. The real view is the other way, but I wanted to show you how the great room turned out. Cozy and ready for lots of everything— from serene afternoons snuggled up with a good read to hosting family and friends with sandy toes and salty hair! All the finishes are beach-friendly too… performance fabric on all the upholstery, vinyl plank “wood” floors, quartzite counters, and weathered woods all ensure this beach house is beautifully bulletproof! ☀️🌊👙⛱️🩳🐚

What a transformation! Our client’s beach house stairs went from whoa to wow! Say hello to the new stair runner by . When my client purchased this beach home, the orange floors were the first thing that needed to go… and in order to be more budget-friendly than ripping out the entire stair system, we decided to paint over the treads and risers, refinish the railing, and go a little wild with the runner — using Stark’s Wildcat Pepper carpet. And bonus— it’s an indoor/outdoor carpet for no worries at the beach. ☀️ Bring on the sand!
