GUNLOCKS CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN SAVING LIVES

As a part of their role on the Lethal Means subcommittee of San Joaquin County Behavioral Health Services’ Su***de Prevention Committee, CSR members Becky Cameron and Sue Rothman spearheaded a free gun lock distribution event Saturday. The Veteran’s Administration provided the locks and they partnered with Stockton PD and Community Medical Centers to give away 70 locks! A similar event in November distributed 60+ free locks.

What a wonderful gift a lock would be to a friend or family member who has weapons in their home. Reach out to CSR and we’ll give you several if you can put them to use. Prevent suicides by firearm and accidental shootings by children having access to a firearm. A simple lock can make all the difference!

I was happy to spend yesterday morning with Mario Enríquez for Stockton City Council serving breakfast at St. Mary’s Dining Hall.

Last night was a great night to be a Trojan! I was happy to attend a fabulous Lincoln High Orchestra winter concert followed by a huge Varsity Boys Basketball win.

It’s always exciting to see the Lincoln High jazz band out in the community. They survived a downpour and entertained the crowd before the Stockton Symphony Spooktacular Concert on Sunday! 🎶

It’s Harvest Festival season! I stopped by Mable Barron’s Family Fun Night and Brookside’s Harvest Festival tonight and had a great time seeing so many students and their families. Thank you to the PTSAs that put these wonderful events on!

I’m excited for this weekend’s performances with the Lincoln High Jazz Band and the Stockton Symphony!

We have even more fantastic music for our concert attendees this weekend! The amazing Lincoln High School-Stockton, Ca Jazz Band will be playing on our Plaza starting at 1:30 prior to our Symphony Spooktacular. Be sure to come early to enjoy the music and grab some pics of you and your family rocking' their costumes!
