After a well deserved memorial weekend off: we come back with a Grant of Parole. Congrats to my client l. My client was never believed when he said he was not at the crime - not the shooter. He’s Been down 36 years for the shooting done by another family gang member! After good preparation for years and 5 year clean: the commissioner opted for a grant : DA argued 5 years of 36 was not long enough clean time for rehabilitation-,we shot that theory down at closing arguments and both Commissioners saw it our way!

Taking a well deserved break over memorial weekend- back at it next week for a few parole hearings…. In the meantime I found this great artist and 24 years of his sculptures on display! Amazing

Tunnel of victory. My client was a Stellar student: although in CDCR’s mental health program at the EOP level; he worked his way out of prison by being found suitable for release this week! Congratulations 🎈🎉 He followed all our direction without fault!

RenegadeAttorney.com strikes again. Our client had gone to Board 5 times before we were hired. We worked with this youth offender to get him ready for the hearing. After being down 36 years on a 25-Life, murder first: he was found suitable today. congratulations 🎈!

Great way to start 2024. Our first case of the year and we hit a home run. Our client a youth offender (gang att. Murder) was down 23 years but was found suitable today, after working hard on his rehabilitation and his parole packet! Congratulations!🎈

Congratulations to my client : he was found suitable to be parole at his initial parole hearing! Originally sentenced to 87 years in prison but was provided an early youth offender parole hearing. All your hard work paid off!

Congrats to my PC290 client who did everything right in his rehabilitation. He was found suitable at his initial parole hearing (down 20 years, with female victim present to oppose parole). He brought the “Road to freedom “ book among others into the institution and started a small group to study their paraphillic disorder. This is very hard because that population is prayed upon in prison. Congratulations the dark cloud has lifted 🎊

A big shout out to my 66 year old client that was found suitable for parole today! He caught his 3x at 44 yo because he stole bottles of visine: this gave him a 25 to Life sentence! The hardest part to his suitability was to get him to understand why he committed his 2nd strike (r**e) 1983 (40 yrs ago!) …. After lots of coaching he was able to explain in his own words how his childhood trauma impacted his choices in life and his criminal behavior!

Congrats to my youth offender client (gang retaliation, not the shooter: contrary to the police report and the conviction) : he received a grant of parole at his initial parole hearing despite his crime version being inconsistent with the court s conviction ! My client received a Grant of Parole at his Initial Parole hearing. He did all the homework we requested and stayed disciplinary free for an extended time. He fully internalized the classes! What a joy to represent Lifers that “get it” and are so ready to be freed!

After a long struggle with an initial youth offender parole hearing; that was continued for over 6 months (for a BPH gang investigation) we ended up with a 1/2 win today; it was a split Decision. Male Presiding Comm granted parole while female DC gave a 3 year denial for lack of credibility during the hearing and she used the confidential file for the denial. All the preliminary objections for using confidential information was put on the record: wish my client best of luck while we wait for the Decision of the split outcome!

Strong hands: Congrats to our youth offender who followed our recommendation (after beating him up a bit!) to waive and postponed his hearing until he completed all his homework. He was granted parole last week after getting a 5 year denial, with the prior attorney!

Congratulations to my 34 yrs old client who received a grant of parole on his Initial parole hearing!!This was tough because a baby died in this murder case: my client was forthright, insightful and humble in his presentation to the commissioners !

Our law office finally got through the Holidays and we are back in full force. Today: Our client followed all our preparation advice- did his homework and was found suitable after almost 25 yrs incarcerated on a 2d degree Murder. Congrats 🎉 to our client.

One of my first released client has now passed- it feels like a family member just died. … but I’m glad he was able to have many years with family as a free man. He was granted parole many years ago out of CVSP

I guess it comes in three! Our client was found suitable today. He had been struggling with narcissistic personality disorder: but it took us a 2nd representation to get him to gain self introspection. First admitting he had the disorder so he could look SEE it impacted him in finding his character defects that contributed to the murder (1st degree) BETTER LATE THAN NEVER ! COngrats to my client. Down 30 yrs on a 25 to life sentence.

We strike again - our client found suitable. After 27 years down. A family drama gone bad, and the brother in law was murdered. Shoot out at the OK corral (taco shop parking lot) including an off duty police officer that just happened to stumble on this altercation. Off duty cop did not get hit but was fired at , in the mix.?

My client incarcerated 43 yrs, turning 70 next year: murder 1st degree of a 2 yr old with sexual overtones: appeared 15 times at Board and kept getting denied! He was found Suitable today: this was our first time representing him at his parole hearing. Panel deliberated over 1 hour- close case but won!

Won my “tough” case today (pedophillic disorder) guy went a full 9 rounds with the panel. He has been to an enormous amount of treatment classes, study groups and single one-on-one therapy. He even is a facilitator in the prison for “Chester” inmate group study! Congrats for all his hard work!

A continuation of good fortune after a good 4th of July. My client (45yo) was found suitable to be released: He took the blue ribbon today——when he was 17 (& gang banger) he was convicted of 2 murders and an attempted murder. (JLWOP) Total rehabilitation after almost 30 yrs of incarceration. Last time he went to the parole Board he was denied 5 years: we were hired, for this hearing. We worked with him and he internalized all of our recommendations and strategy!
