Each Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) treatment is unique. Each hairline design is created with input from both the client and myself (the SMP Artist). 🤝

My client came to me and was interested in restoring his natural receding hairline. So we brought his hairline down some and filled-in the patchy areas to even out the look. 🤩

Session by session, taking a conservative approach, we dialed-in the ink color tone, added dimension, and a balance that matches well with existing buzzed-cut hair. ✍🏽

This was taken just after his third session. He does have an included fine-tune session (that is good to use within a year dating from his first session) available to him if chooses to use it.

This is no April Fools. These results are the real deal. After 3 sessions of SMP Density, working with his hair at length, we were able to reduce scalp show-through and make his hair appear naturally fuller by reducing the contrast from scalp to hair. Always careful not to over saturate the scalp.

How long does SMP does last?

Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is long lasting, TYPICALLY lasting 3-7 years before a ‘touch-up’ is needed. With that being said, it depends on your preference and your SMP Artists’ discretion. In this touch up session, my client did not need more density but desired a bit more ‘pop’ with his SMP. My approach was to ‘tap-in’ directly into existing dots/ impressions to reach his desired look.

Over the years, SMP will not fade away completely. But rather soften over time, as seen here in the photo above. Using high quality carbon based pigment ink, ensures long lasting results designed to age well, only losing definition and naturally softening over time.

Prolonged sun and UV exposure is the biggest contributor to faster SMP fading. Ensuring proper self-care by living a healthy lifestyle, regularly moisturizing your scalp and using a mineral based sun block will help keep your SMP looking bold and well defined longer.
