They are an incredible nonprofit that offers affordable integrative health care to our community. Some of their services include clinical massage, acupuncture, chiropractic care, naturopathic medicine and much more!

Bees are an integral part of our planet! Through pollination they provide us with food and resources, keep many species coexisting and ecosystems in a cohesive state. We ALL owe them so much! This is why we purchase our beeswax from an ethical homestead in Mill Valley, CA. Our suppliers are passionate about ethical treatment, research and sharing their knowledge about the importance of protecting bee populations. Many candlemakers do not use beeswax because of the cost or the fact that it’s a harder wax. We see these things as an opportunity, we want to support ethical and eco-conscious beekeepers. The fact that it’s a harder wax only brings benefits, as beeswax candles burn much longer than most other waxes. Beeswax candles are also considered a health care product. The wax produces negative ions when burned which cleans the air rather than causing a flare of allergies. Can you tell we’re passionate about bees and beeswax?!? We wanted to share these facts with you all in the spirit of Earth Day. Below are some ways you can support bees in your own garden which simultaneously supports our planet. We have some exciting news! Our candles are officially available at Adams Avenue Integrative Health in Normal Heights! A big thanks to Ryan and the team there. This place is the Bee’s knees (pardon our pun)! They do everything from Chiropractic, acupuncture, clinical massage, to naturopathic medicine and now they’re selling our eco-friendly, air purifying beeswax candles! Go check them out and make sure to stop by if you’re heading to the Adams Ave Street Fair on April 30th!

We're getting so close to launching our Etsy store and we couldn't be more excited for everyone to start trying out our musically inspired beeswax candles! Our first custom scents will be: Wish You Were Hibiscus, Hey Juniper, Sunshine Orange Dream, Whiskey Bar, and Another Birch in the Wall. Stay tuned for more info as we get closer to May 1st!

We're really excited to introduce our Doors inspired candle! And yes it has a Whiskey scent but also has sweet notes of vanilla. No, Whiskey bars don't generally smell good but this candle sure does! It's definitely in the line up of candles we'll be selling when our etsy shop launches 🙌🕯🌚

Our candles use 100% natural and ethically sourced Beeswax. Pictured below is the beeswax we use that comes right from a farm in Northern California. These white beeswax pellets are free of any chemicals, unbleached, and particle free.

The history of beeswax candles dates all the way back to 40 BC!! Beeswax later became the traditional candle preference for many churches. Honey bees were even brought to Puerto Rico in order to make candles.

When beeswax is burned it acts as a natural air purifier. It produces negative ions that attach to positive ions like pollen, dust, odor and mold and remove them from the air. Not only do our candles smell great, they also make the air around you a little more refreshing 😃.

We can't wait to open up our shop and share these candles with all of you!

Fun facts: As candle makers, the most challenging part is testing and getting the product just right. That includes the safety of the product. As candles can be hazardous, it's imperative that the product put out is as safe as possible. This photo embodies a big win for us! The candle is reaching an even melt pool after two hours and had a wonderful hot throw. When it reached its 3 to 4 hour mark there was about an eighth of an inch of wax left around the inner edges. Many don't know but on the first burn that's what keeps the candle safe, you don't want a full melt pool after the first 4 hours. Once the candle is lit again the wax will catch up and reach a full melt pool. And that's what we call a high performing candle! Woo hoo! 💜🕯🖤🕯💜
