It’s snack cup szn, and I am here for it! I finally got my tigerlily plum quencher tumbler and a snack bowl to fit (bowl is not Stanley brand, I got it on Amazon, but they should make one!) and as an artist who loves her summer refreshments while creating, let’s just manifest a fun summer collab.

I created these few mockups in my style, so to Stanley team, I would love to connect!

To say how exhausted and full of gratitude I was yesterday after an incredibly fun night at my first local art show would not express it enough.

I’ve been fortunate to exhibit my art nationally and internationally this past year, but this was my first time attending a display of my work in-person, which was also extra special because I got to exhibit among friends, new and recently acquainted, and I had the best time!

Thank you so much .collective and for the invitation, thanks to the DJ for the tunes and hilarious vibes, and congrats to all the artists! It was such a great night getting to meet all of you! 💚🎨🌿

I have enjoyed and struggled with many art palettes and painting cleanups over the years, but honestly none have been as great as glass + razor. If you are an artist and haven’t tried this yet, I highly recommend it! 💚

Fun fact, I actually use a tv tray to cover my palette when I’m not painting.

I am shocked! SHOCKED!

at how long I waited before getting my hands on this I mean… excu… EXCUSE ME?! Look at this transparency! This tape is thinner than my chances at winning the powerball lottery! But the seal? Clingier than most of my ex’s let me tell you, this is the “delicate surfaces” adhesive and I was a little worried it would have as much stick, but I was wrong!

She stickksssss! (Also highly recommend using silicon wedge to really seal it on there for textured surfaces)

Painting some more today, let’s get it done 💚

I finally ran out of all my painters tape and ordered this pack of which I’ve wanted to try for a long time, very excited to compare my peel lines! The painting on the right is my old tape. 🎨

I have 11 paintings to finish, and so I am about to go through a lot of tape, and I need my seams to be cleeeean, and I have heard there is no better product than FrogTape to make my work perfect, so I can’t wait to finish the segment I’m working on.

Also, shoutout to the team at FrogTape for reaching out this morning to ship me some rolls after posting on the bird app! I am just beside myself with gratitude 💚🙌🏻

If you have been following my stories then you already know these palms have been a process! Since I’m working in acrylic paint I have been using acrylic airbrush medium to make these color blends smooth! currently I am highlighting the leaves with pink, green, orange, yellow and a sprinkle of blue. I don’t thin out my paint with water because I want the adhesion of the acrylic on the canvas to last for years and retain its vibrancy. I’ll share some more painting video stories (maybe a reel) later this afternoon. ✨✌🏻
