One of you just the other day was asking for a loose wave tutorial and this one is great! Of course the haircut plays a huge part of it, this is my all time favorite length and style. The cut involves a lot of detailing and texturizing but leaves you with the easiest of hairstyles to work with while looking effortlessly put together everyday.

Summer Scalp Care: Don't forget to protect your scalp this summer. I'm seeing lots of burnt part lines! Here's 3 ways to protect your scalp from a sunburn 1) Dab a small amount of SPF 30 sunscreen along your part line 2) pull your hair back to cover a strong part line *I love to braid my bangs back to a ponytail 3) Best option - Wear a headscarf or hat. I'm living in my panama hat this summer :)

Yesterday I was the one getting a color transformation! The whole process took 5 hours full of formula creating, root color, end color, balayage, and toning. Plus a good 3-4" haircut before the whole process :) After one session we are 90% to the desired final look! This shows you how changing hair color is a process - and to keep the integrity of the hair (meaning not breaking off) we split it up in to multiple appointments. Thanks to my amazing stylist friend Katie Lowrie for making me blonde! :)
