This lovely cotton cord roll got its beautiful color from natural dyeing using a fruit!

Yes! Blueberries!
Here's how I did it:
• I briefly soaked frozen blueberries in water and used the bright pink 😍 colored strained water to dye a roll of neutral colored cotton cord.
• I let the strained water boil, dipped the cord in it and turned off the heat.
• After letting the cord rest for sometime in the water, I rinsed the cord with fresh water and let it dry.
It was pretty simple and I love how this color turned out!💗

Here's a mandala inspired macramé wall art! I've combined my love for macramé and mandalas in this wall art.💓
I believe this piece truly represents my brand and logo accurately! I'd love to let you in on how I came up with the Bellaloop Creations brand logo and why I'm so fascinated with mandalas.
Mandala is a graphic figure which means circle in Sanskrit. It has many spiritual significances and I have always been drawn to these patterns! Coming from the Indian culture myself, I was always surrounded with the sacred mandala designs everyday in the form of Kolam/Rangoli decorations.
It is a tradition in India, to adorn the doorstep/sidewalk floor spaces of homes every morning with mostly mandala designs using rice powder, which is Kolam/Rangoli. One of the many significances of drawing the Kolam is to express gratitude to mother Earth, extend warm invitations to a myriad of living beings like ants,birds and pray for a harmonious existence with all beings. Such a thoughtful practice, right? It is also definitely a meditative ritual!
Now you know why I have a depiction of mandala in my brand logo ☺️ Also, mandala represents the interconnection of everything in the universe and I believe all actions have a ripple effect. I'd love to brighten up homes/lives by spreading love and positivity with my exclusively designed art work. 💗
I love painting mandalas and had to create a mandala macramé art inspired by those beautiful kolam patterns I grew up seeing. Though it was hard to use cotton cord to bring out a mandala design, it was well worth my time and effort! ♥️

Palace of colors
I had a design idea in mind for wall art and had this urge to create it for the past few days. However, when I started working on it, I ended up with an entirely different wall art, which is this one! 💗 The one in mind seemed tricky to execute, but I will find a way to bring it to you guys!
Nevertheless, I love this one and it reminds me of the palaces in Rajasthan, which I'd love to visit! So I named this art "Palace of colors".
It's strange how some great creative ideas hit me when I go to sleep at night! I literally had to keep a pen and paper by the bedside, to sketch my ideas. 🙈
All you creative peeps, does this happen to you? Is there a pecific time in the day when you are at a creative peak? ✨

I've been trying to embrace a more sustainable lifestyle to reduce environmental impacts and wanted to see how I could use eco-friendly/sustainable resources to make statement jewelry! 💗 Sustainable fashion need not be boring after all .✨

What's your favorite color?✨

There's nothing more soothing and energizing than spending time in the lap of nature! I love our planet dearly and am ever grateful to mother Earth for everything that has been bestowed upon us. I try to do whatever I can to give back to mother Earth thereby reducing the burden already caused.
Sustainability is an ethos which I hold very close to my heart. Today being Earth day, I wanted to share a little bit about how I reduce, reuse and recycle wherever possible here at Bellaloop Creations:
- I have been sourcing 100% recycled cotton cord for future macramé projects.
- Mindful about resources being used, I reduce wastage and collect any leftover cord for future projects. I have already reused a few to make tassels and will look into what else can be created after gathering enough scraps. Ideas are welcome! 😊
- I try to use minimum packaging and reuse shipping boxes/packages as much as possible.
- I am against the use of single use plastic materials! I may occasionally reuse bubble wraps from earlier shipments, but only when absolutely necessary.
On the personal front, I have also reduced the usage of paper napkins and moved over to using reusable cloth options. Let's discourage fast fashion!
I am always looking at incorporating more sustainable practices. If you have any more suggestions, bring them on.. I am all ears!
I feel it's our duty to give back to mother Earth in whatever way possible by following green practices. We may not be doing everything, but being more cognizant about green practices and incorporating whatever we can still counts!🙌✨
Every action we take has an impact on our planet and together we can make a difference! Let us treat our planet as if it were Earth day everyday and take positive steps for the sake of our future generations! Our Earth with thank us for that! 🌎♻️☺️
