In case you were wondering what pure joy looks like, this is it! 🥹

Ever wonder what the inside of the kiln looks like? This is the first layer of a bisque firing. Because touching is not only okay, but also encouraged while bisquing, I often load hundreds of pieces in at a time. All carefully stacked with smaller wares nesting inside of larger wares. After a 4 hour preheat (to ensure all moisture is gone), an 8.5 hour firing, and then another 8-10 hours of cooling, theses guys will be ready to unload, categorize, and glaze!
