Happenstance has been a huge part of my life for almost 17yrs. At this time there are many endings, making way for new beginnings❤️
Statement of Intent - Hapenstans The Tribe Redistribution of Energy
My beloved Tribe. My family. My community.
For 17 years I stood proud to support numerous individuals that grew, developed and evolved within my space. I withstood change and transformation, in the face of some of the most difficult economic circumstances. I blossomed as a community gathered within me. A community that Loved. A community that lived. A community that brought joy and sorrow to be shared by each other.
I am Hapenstans, on October 31, 2017 my doors will be officially closed as my energy will be redistributed to support the expansion of The Tribe.
We, The Tribe, have fought for our freedom. We started as an idea, a way to do life differently. With Joy and Passion, Love and Patience. We nurtured. We healed. We Loved.
Hapenstans has affected so many over these years, from all of the gifted artisans and practitioners, to those that shared in our epic Pride parties and the thousands that have received work, healing and support. A community developed in Love.
This moment in time is bittersweet. We have all heard, “When one door closes, another door opens” and this has never been more true than right now. Though we have all Loved Hapenstans so dearly, it is also time to close a chapter on all of our lives.
It is time to start a new chapter in which The Tribe expands.
The times we live in are intense. The call for healing the Planet and Humanity has become unmistakable. To truly be an example of Personal Responsibility in all aspects of one’s life. To Be the change we wish to see in the world.
When Hapenstans began it stood up for Freedom of the Arts. Freedom for Creatives. Freedom for Humanity. The infinite expression of Love and Compassion and Truth. This will not change. These years have taught us so much. Through Hapenstans, we have grown incredibly and our gratitude is endless.
This would not have been possible without all of you. Our support. Our community. Our Tribe. The sheer extent of our Love for you is difficult to put into words. Thousands of people have come through Hapenstans. Some have seen it all the way through. Some happened upon it. But all of you are a part of it.
It is our most sincere intent that you Know we are carrying this energy forward. That Hapenstans will forever live in all of our hearts and will be a continued inspiration that drives us. It is the Knowing that each of you care about the progressive movement of human expression.
All of us at the Tribe are holding space for the magnificence of Hapenstans and all the gifts shared as we begin to redistribute the energy, while graciously looking forward to new beginnings and a new opportunity with an expanded Purpose.
We will stay in contact as the Tribe re-arranges and moves through this transitionary time.
Again, Thank you. Thank you so much for everything that you are. Thank you for supporting an idea that will carry on and continue into the next expression of Love, Truth and Creative Freedom.
With Infinite Love - The Tribe
The “I” that is the “We”. The “You” that is the “Us”.
Dear Friends, Family & Loved Ones,
The collective heart of the Tribe is filled with joy and deep gratitude for all of your support; both through our ongoing GoFundMe campaign and our Spring Equinox "Keep the Tribe Alive" Fundraiser. As a result of our community's continued support and belief in the vision, our doors are still open.
Big, huge, ginormous shout-outs to those directly involved in making this fundraiser event successful, beautiful, entertaining, meaningful, and a celebration of Love, with live performances by DJ El Vee, Lesleigh Kent, MCflow, and Ingénue; displayed art by Victorio Villa & Shawn Michael; poster art by Courtney Harmon; auction & raffle items donated by The Red Crow Studio, South Bark Dog Wash, Drub, Ryan Roots, Erik Benson, Joe Nyiri, Brandy Noon, and so many others within the Tribe family.
And, of course, huge thanks to everyone in Thetribe for their labor of Love!

We'll take a look at the definition of magic, how magic works, and how to play with it. In today’s fast growing interest in alternative spirituality, practices involving magic are growing in popularity. Old and new crafts seem to spring up regularly. But what is magic really, and why do we find ourselves drawn to it? How is magic used? Is it a religion, spirituality, culture, or what? We'll explore these questions and more; offering an hands on opportunity to encounter Pulling Spirit, infusing this energy into your spells/objects.
I'm excited to attend 'What is Magic, and why do we play with it anyway' View more about this event at PantheaCon 2017
