I have known Denelle for almost 13 years, way back when we were two of only a handful of cloth pad shops (Remember Mother Moon Pads?).
She woke up to a devastating fire this morning that took nearly her entire flock of chickens as well as all of her families stored summer supplies and more. Insurance will cover some, but the deductible is high and they won't cover her flock or feed.

Can you help?

Final shed/coop update for a while. The fire killed the majority of my flock. It damaged the right side of the shed. We lost ALL of our camping supplies (which was just purchased last summer).
We filed an insurance claim, but they will not be covering the cost of my flock (which unfortunately had some $$$ breeds) or my mealworms, and we have an $850 deductible. They told me not to touch anything until the adjuster comes out next Friday. I'm not even supposed to b*ury my girls. (Photo is taken at an angle where none are shown)
A friend came over immediately to help me calm down this morning, and she was also able to take home the 2 hens, 1 duck, and 1 guinea that survived. One of the hens coughed all day long and has some smoke inhalation lung issues. :/ I'm so worried about her.
I am ridiculously thankful that this wasn't worse, but honestly I feel so absolutely defeated tonight.

It's been a long time since I posted here and I apologize! Life has gotten hectic- dealing with mental health issues with a couple of my kids (one major), plus other health issues, my own recent diagnosis of arthritis and fibromyalgia, along with3 ruptured discs in my neck, amd the continued decline of my eyesight. We did take a trip up to the pacific northwest to attend my auntsorial service, and my grandfather dies 2 days before we got there. We dealt with a round of covid that went through the whole family. My youngest had major chest surgery and had complications that kept him in the hospital for several extra days.

It's been a summer. Has it been good? We have had some good times- not as many as I would have hoped, but there were certainly some good times.

I know I have some of the best custimers out there- you all have been so patient and understanding, amd I so so thankful for that. ❤️. I want to apologize for being ng behind on orders for the first time in 12 years in business. I hate that, it causes me extra stress, but it has also slowed down my orders due to Etsy algorithms. I still need income. Pampered Shop pays our bills.
