Stylist, Heather!! ✨

Heather was born and raised in New York, so it seems appropriate to give you her story in a New York minute!

She came San Diego for design school. Graduated, & designed custom furniture with her husband, then they left to work on a yacht for years of traveling around the world!

When they were back on land, Heather went to cosmetology school and Barber School and fell in love with the industry.

Right out of school, she honed her artistry and techniques in a high end salon where great value was placed on the customer service experience.

As soon as you are in Heather’s chair, you’ll quickly understand the impact and calibers of care she gives to each person she encounters.

A head massage that leaves you speechless, conversation that speaks to your soul and a haircut crafted with the utmost level of care, after your experience, you’ll you’ll never go back to a quick haircut again.

On her days off you can find Heather at the beach with her husband and kids or riding into the wind on her Harley!

Hannah was born and raised in Poway, California.

She brings 7 years of experience and an awesome love and appreciation for the world of Barbering into the shop. Clients appreciate her attention to detail and love for services like straight razor shaves!

In addition to giving a beautiful cut, her goal is to also make a connection and create a memorable experience for those that take a seat in her chair.

When Hannah is out of the shop you can find her at the local kickboxing gym, shopping with friends and exploring new places!

Welcome to the team Aimee!! ✨

Aimee grew up in Seattle, Washington. After High School she decided to dive into the hair industry and learn everything she could about cutting.

She spent 6 of the 8 years of her career learning from some of the best educators and stylists at one of Seattle's most well respected shops, Rudy's. Her passion for cutting and love for making humans feel good is what continues to inspire her to learn and show up each day with a sense of curiosity and desire to give the best haircut for each person in her chair.

Lucky for us, Aimee was craving a little more sun and change in scenery and she decided to move to San Diego to work at Tailored!

When Aimee isn't cutting, you can find her pumping weights at CrossFit or finding a fun little dive bar or restaurant to enjoy some good food!

This month marks 9 years of Tailored being in business. It’s also our first year to truly celebrate the Holidays at the new shop since last year on this day we had to close due to Covid business closures (we weren’t able to reopen until 6 weeks later).

This year I’d like to celebrate Tailored while the shop is in action because I feel absolutely grateful to hear the beautiful sound of music playing, people talking and clippers buzzing.

I am grateful for our clients, team and the opportunity to grow this dream and promise I do not take it for granted. I hope what we have created so far makes ya proud and look forward to creating and refining an even better experience for our clients and team because… you deserve it.

Bio:
Denisse is a Los Angeles native, born with a unique artistic flow. Following her adventurous heart and strong passion for travel, Denisse expanded her cultural experience by taking time to work, travel and play abroad. Traveling to Europe and the U.K. allowed her to fulfill her insatiable appetite to keep up with the latest hair trends, techniques and hair culture as they appear in the fashion scene all over the world!

Denisse has had many opportunities for further training by styling coordinating hair shows and attending hair courses through Aveda, Sassoon, Carlton Hair Intl. Academy and American Crew.

Bringing over 17 years of experience in precision cutting, artistic vision and impeccable attention to detail; she will surely deliver the quality haircut that clients are seeking!
