I made these last month and they finally had their photo shoot.

A Little Warped - Enamel on fold-formed copper and sterling silver

It takes several hours to form and enamel these, and I'm not always happy with the results. But some turn out awesome! And I'm getting better about recording the steps and colors I used, so, hopefully, I can recreate them. Of course, none will be identical, since the fold forming is always different and that makes the glass flow differently.

And a new idea begins ... I cut the copper, hammered it into waves, reticulated with some copper scraps, then fold formed and annealed and fold formed some more. Now they're in the tumbler to shine them up and soften all the hard edges before enameling. I'm anxious to see what they turn into!

Don't forget to look up! I saw this fallen bloom on my compost bin and it made me look up to see my wisteria blooming! I was so excited! I had 2 wisterias and a rose growing on my trellis, and in one year, all 3 died. Haven't a clue why. But one wisteria kept sending up new growth, so I started winding it around the trellis post and it's blooming this year. Once I take down all the dead wood from the other I'll let a volunteer start growing to the top.

But I'll have to buy another Vilchenblau rose. 😟

We finally got to face paint to support the ! It was so fun to watch them play Brazil. I was so glad it wasn't raining. USA won ...1-0. Can't wait to see them in the Olympics!

Celebrating International Women's Day by picking up my season ticket holder gift. I love supporting the women playing the beautiful game. Love the pins! There is also a nice note from Jill Ellis, a patch and a flag. I'm looking forward to cheering on the at on Sunday! 🇺🇲⚽️

I love the unusual way these drops are drilled. I had this design in mind when I first saw them in Tucson. This pair sold, but I have another pair with bitty green beads between the drops.
