For all those people excited about this Navient settlement - not so fast...

Basically, only 350,000 borrowers with Federal student loans will each receive a whopping $260 each - enjoy!

About 66,000 Private Student Loans will be cancelled (the remaining balances), these loans were all loans taken out between the years 2002-2010.

That is all - it is a nice headline but at the end of the day, Navient gets away with basically a slap on the wrist (again and again)... they have made billions so this settlement is a joke. IMO
