As the first installment of CCEEJ’s Energy Justice 101 series, this webinar will be a great opportunity to learn more about energy justice and its relationship to environmental and climate justice.
Led by our partners of the University of San Diego School of Law Energy Policy Initiative Center, Arizona State University for Energy & Society, University of Guam Center for Island Sustainability (), and Pacific RISA (), this webinar will provide an introductory overview of various components of energy justice such as energy and poverty, energy reliability, the impacts of energy projects on communities, examples of energy justice projects in EPA Region 9, and more.

The Energy Policy Initiatives Center (EPIC) is a non-profit research center of the USD School of Law that studies energy policy issues affecting California and the San Diego region. EPIC’s mission is to increase awareness and understanding of energy- and climate-related policy issues by conducting research and analysis to inform decision makers and educating law students.
