Borage barged into our garden and dominated the scene, so I learned all about it and made some interesting 🤨 recipes! 🌿 ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Borage, also known as Borago officinalis, is an annual herb that is native to the Mediterranean region. It is a member of the Boraginaceae family and has been cultivated for centuries for both its culinary and medicinal uses.

- Borage leaves have a mild cucumber-like flavor, making them a popular addition to salads, soups, and sauces.
- The bright blue flowers of the borage plant are often used as a garnish.
-I love using the blue edible flowers in fancy dishes, desserts, and drinks. 🌸 🍹
- Borage flowers can also be frozen in ice cubes 🧊 or candied to decorate cakes 🧁 and pastries.
