NO ONE SPECIAL: This is a show about the childhood of Julie Kim. Julie was born in Toronto and lived with her family in an apartment above their convenience store. Julie tells stories about money, theft, weight, gender, race, bullying, and more. You’ll cringe, cry, and crack up.

Julie Kim is an internationally headlining stand-up comedian and Canadian Screen Award winning writer and producer. She has performed at Just for Laughs in Montreal and every major comedy festival in the country. She recently made her debut at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Julie has been in the writing rooms of Run The Burbs, Still Standing, and Kim’s Convenience. She wrote for Simu Liu as he hosted The Juno Awards in 2022 and 2023. Julie’s mission is to spread happiness, lighten hearts, and unite through laughter. TIX AT sdfringe.org
