I focus on hitting my protein daily and lifting as heavy as I can. I still do cardio but itโs not my main focus.
Just getting in steps daily and moving.
I cook most my food at home and I drink tons of water.
I found a happy balance between lifting, eating, and going out with friends.

3 Reasons Why You Shouldnโt Lift Weights

๐พโโ๏ธ You donโt want to shape & tone your curves
- Do not lift weights if you want sculpting lean muscle mass that highlights your natural curves and gives you a well-defined, toned look.
๐๐พ You DO NOT want to burn stubborn fat
- If you want to boost your resting metabolic rate, so that you burn more calories even when youโre not working out. Then donโt lift heavy weights because it will help you lose stubborn fat and keep a lean physique.
๐ You Donโt Need to enhance your confidence
- A recent survey found that women who regularly lift weights feel more confident in their bodies and have lower levels of anxiety and depression. So itโs best not to lift that heavy dumbbell if you love feeling depressed and anxiety-ridden.
โจ All jokes aside, lifting weights is a must-add to your schedule. Start small with just 3x a weekโno need to bench press a bus! You can even start at home if youโre not ready to brave the gym jungle.

6 Things I Wish I Knew Before Working Out
1. You NEED TO EAT food to gain muscle. You cannot starve yourself. You will just be โSkinny Fatโ with no muscle, no ass, or shape ๐คฆ๐พโโ๏ธ
2. Cardio does not make you lose body fat. It should just be an assistant. But the main focus should be eating protein and lifting HEAVY ASF to build more muscle and lose body fat. ๐๐พ
3. The scale DOES NOT MATTER. It only tells 1/4 of the story. It can tell you how much body fat you lost, how much muscle youโve grown, and how much more energy you have now! โบ๏ธ
4. Your favorite fitness influencer probably got liposuction, butt lift, or their abs done (yes they can do that?!). Research the people you follow and make sure they are being honest on how they achieve their looks. Itโs okay to do surgeries if thatโs what you like. But they should be honest if they did or not. Why listen to someone who didnโt even get their body naturally ๐
5. You can eat out with friends and loved ones. You just need to follow the 80/20 rule. Try your best to eat Whole Foods and hit your protein daily. And if you go out to eat 1x a week it wonโt be the end of the world ๐
6. Focus on your own journey and your own timeline. Everyone has different bodies, home life, jobs, etc. Canโt compare your journey to anyone elseโs because theyโre not you. Focus on you โจ
