I cannot thank you enough for showing your support for the myself and the Alpine Community Network for the last 11 YEARS! I could NEVER have grown the ACN to what it is today without YOUR SUPPORT!
I created this Network eleven years ago as a way for our community to communicate with and support each other in every way. Back then hardly anyone was even using Facebook or knew what it was! This platform was a way for ALL the residents of Alpine, regardless of age or online skills, to get important information about their community via our website, emails and social media! This was ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT during the many fires that have hit Alpine and I have been so happy to be able to help everyone in this way and all the other ways the Alpine Community Network brings the community together!
With that being said, I want to take a moment to tell you about some exciting news that will result in some REALLY AWESOME and EXCITING CHANGES at the Alpine Community Network!
I want to let you all know that I have passed the Alpine Community Network “torch” to an INCREDIBLE long time Alpine resident named ANGELA MAY. How about that… another ANGIE!! And…. she is so much like me in so many ways and is SO IN LOVE with this awesome community of ALPINE! Some of you may already know her…. she owns STONEY OAKS RANCH here in Alpine.
She is BEYOND QUALIFIED in every way to continue running the ACN and has some really amazing ideas to make it even BIGGER AND BETTER! There are so many great things planned that will connect the community even more! I am absolutely confident that Alpine is in GOOD HANDS with the “new” Angie at the helm!
One of the changes is an ALL NEW UPDATED AND BEAUTIFUL WEBSITE that will be 100% mobile friendly! My daughter Amanda Hollander and I have been working on this new website for the past year and the timing has worked out perfectly for Angie May to help put the finishing touches on it! I KNOW YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT when YOU see it!

So, you may be wondering why I am leaving the ACN after developing and running it for so many years…. my family has made the decision to move to Prescott, Arizona to stay close to my Daughters and Grandchildren (which mean everything in the world to me) who moved there late last year.
I love Alpine SO MUCH and making the decision to leave this town wasn’t easy for me because I have lived there my whole life. ALPINE has been my heart & soul, but my family is the most important thing in my life 🙂 Worrying about the ACN and who could possibly run it other than me was a huge concern of mine for a very long time, but my prayers were answered when I met Angela May! She truly has the same love for this town that I do! Not to mention she is a fantastic person who you will all LOVE!
