Our Fall 2024 Open Call is now open! We are looking for projects that explore untold stories and fresh perspectives on the Indigenous Pacific Islander experience. Apply to one of the following:
➡️ SHORTS FUND provides up to $25K for nonfiction and fiction short films in any stage of production that is up to 20 min in length.
➡️ MEDIA FUND provides up to $65K in production or post-production funding for nonfiction films of 30 min or 1 hr in length.

About the film:
Pat (Lin-Lin Li) and Angie (Patra Au) have spent nearly 30 years together in their cozy Hong Kong apartment, sharing love, routine, and a close-knit community. After Pat's unexpected death, Angie faces challenges with Pat’s family, uncovering deeper truths about family, commitment, and aging.

Cine Libre presents 'A Is for Agustin,' directed by Grace Pimentel Simbulan. Grace, a Filipina filmmaker, brings her extensive experience with Indigenous communities to this poignant story. Her film, celebrated as a Gawad Urian Best Documentary Film Nominee and featured in CNN Philippines' Top 10 Filipino Films of 2019, reflects her dedication to documenting and preserving Indigenous knowledge. Grace's work extends beyond filmmaking, contributing to academic research and publications on Indigenous futures.
