Sugi table in big leaf maple and Georgia live oak 29x68x15” for I was told a fun story about this oak. Apparently they used to build ships with it back in the day because cannon balls would bounce off the sides, hence the nickname ironside oak. 📸

Just finished another run of Squiggles. Each piece is a free form cut on my bandsaw in Claro walnut. If interested please DM and let me know which one you’re interested in. Depending on size they range from $90-130. I can also mail for the cost of shipping.

Baloo coffee table 33x47x15” in a mix of claro, Bastogne, and English walnut. I left some texture on the legs to break up the smoothness of the top. When done it kind of looked like an abstract bear to me hence the name baloo. For 📸

Dry stack outdoor table in salvage old growth redwood and found beach stone. 43x86x29” Most of this material came from old 7x16”x20’ beams I bought off a guy years ago who was moving to Tennessee.

Hey everyone, once again I’m going to do another run of pieces for the cost of wood alone. This time I’m going to offer a coffee table, headboard, and smaller dining table (under 6’). Just like last time I get full creative freedom on the design, though open to some of your ideas. Hey everyone…. In one month it’s our 10 year anniversary and we wanted to extend a little give back to our faithful followers and patrons. What we will be doing is offering 3 projects to customers at ONLY the cost of wood, no labor charge. That said the only stipulation is we get creative freedom to build in any fashion within your size constraints. If interested please email us with what you are wanting and we can have you in the shop to pick some material. If the project needs to be shipped, that cost is on the customer. Refinished this Claro patchwork coffee table we made 4 years ago and sending off to its new home. The edges on this thing are so wild, gotta love a nice burly edge.

Labyrinth dining table in Claro and Bastogne walnut 46”x90”. Created this for a great customer who was building his mom a new home in the Bay Area, came to us for a dining and coffee table. He was one of those people who trusted our style and gave us a bit of creative freedom to make something playful. Thanks

This is the first edition of the Snoopie coffee table. American elm and Claro walnut 37x40x16” with hand rubbed oil/wax finish. Had fun with this one and plan to elaborate on this form in the future.

Fun project I did with my wife and some friends in our garage a while back. When I originally built this garage out in 2011 I had grand plans for it to be my wood shop. As I neared completion I decided to start made lumber and the garage just sat collecting crap for 10 years. I worked on the entire project with friends, from framing to finish product. It’s fun going through the old photos and reflecting on jobs of the past. This coffee table from the form series is still one of my favorites. Working with and her wonderful clients was such a pleasure. They gave me a touch of direction but then creative freedom, in my mind the best way to build. Thanks for the opportunity and look forward to more abstractions in the future.

New Weird Walker on deck. I’ve been doodling these little guys for a while now and finally bringing to life, super excited about this one. This series will all be standing sculptural pieces, ranging from 5-7’ in height. I plan on starting with this one and working on a few more in the coming months. 🌊

New labyrinth dining table

Decided after 14 years it was time to replace the front door my house so figured why not have fun with it. Went with two of my favorite woods, old growth redwood on on side and old growth fir on the other. Turned all the plates from chunks I’ve honestly been collecting since 2008 when I spent the year in NorCal at college of the redwoods… now This was a fun project that was made better by working with such special wood.
