Today's the day! This event is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and the doors will close when we run out of chairs. Don't worry though! You can get this same instruction in a one-on-one setting by requesting an appointment for 3D Printing at the Mira Mesa Library's IDEA Lab on the San Diego Public Library website under the webpage tab labeled 'IDEA". We will also be hosting more of these introductory classes in the future.

Join Ms. Krystal in the IDEA Lab on Saturday, December 9th from 1pm - 2:30pm to learn what a 3D model is and how you can turn that into something you can print! You’ll be introduced to where you can find pre-made 3D models ready for printing, the basics of some of the 3D modeling software that the library uses (including ones that you can use at home), and how to splice that 3D model to turn it into something ready to be printed. As part of this class, the participants will be able to submit their own 3D Print on Demand request that takes under 3 hours to print and has only one print file.
