4 more days til these two get married! 🤪
Happy 34th anniversary to my parents! Of the 100+ couples I've filmed, I've never seen anyone look at his bride the way my dad did on his wedding day. I've reminded my mom that I am waiting for someone like her - a woman of steadfast faith, perseverance, and patience.
She's someone who really knew my dad's heart, looking past the temporary and into the internal and eternal. Three decades later, and my dad is still discovering how richly loved he is by her. It's a blessing to have them still in my life, being a testimony to God's enduring love, and loving each other and me endlessly. P.S. I was not the videographer for this wedding.

In many ways, my life just started
Posting anything about my personal life is not my jam, but here we go...
I recently began to believe that there is so much more to life than what I've told myself. I lived in a dark place of shame and inferiority for most of my life. I knew I had to start afresh, somewhere else... then came the California dream - it presented a new beginning for me. So i'm here, on the edge of the country, keeping my chin up, and letting God restore parts of my life I thought were impossible. A slow miracle!
Following a year full of tears and some tragedies, I decided to move 2,048 miles away from my family and friends who gave me a great amount of comfort and security. I left my life of rythem and certainty. I was jumping into a new world!
This move has forced me to restructure the way I run my business - the way I interact with the ones i'm serving, fellow creatives, my time, and my own imagination. It's my chance to do things right this time around. I need that!
I'll never forget booking 38 weddings in my first year of business. While that may look like success to others - I was a complete wreck on the inside. I had the wrong mindset and I was on the highway to disaster. Staying up til 2am editing, eating junk, neglecting relationships. I didn't seek out any mentorship at the time and I was just doing things according to my selfish ambition. Yep. I learned my lesson. I'm giving myself a second chance.
This new season of my life & business has encouraged me to trust that
- I have unique, valuable ideas I can bring to the world
- God has unfathomable, good plans for my future and yours
- There are actually good things about being an introvert
- My self worth is not tied to the success of my business
I'm living in an answered prayer. My new friends, communities, beliefs, and safe home have been a blessing and I am looking forward to more twists and turns lifes about to throw my way. If you read til the end, I appreciate u.
Hey there! One of my goals for 2024 is to show more of my face/who I am behind the camera. A couple of months ago I moved from Wisconsin to SoCal and I have been basking in the sun ever since (one of the biggest reasons I moved). The strangest thing I've noticed here is the Christmas decor people put up. Icicle lights, snowmen, snowflakes, etc. it's like people wish they were in the Midwest. Get it away from meee! ☀️
A few things I am learning as a business owner/person -
1. Only planning for what I can handle aka saying "no"
2. My future is bigger than my past
3. Loving thyself through my brokenness
A few things I'm looking forward to with the company -
1. Getting my 2023 wedding films finished!
2. Building relationships in the industry here
3. Quality over quantity
Onward to 2024!

Introducing Leggacy Films
Without my dad's faith in me, my calling wouldn't exist. In 2005 Tim Legg started his own company, Video Reflections. As a teenager I was always quietly fascinated with his work; watching him unbox new cameras, getting a glimpse of the editing process over his shoulder, and seeing his heartfelt investment in each couple's special day.
Eventually, he would start bringing me to wedding shoots as his "bag boy". I was all for it! He even set up a micro office for me within his office to help edit footage. Fast forward to college, I took on the lead Videographer role and primary Editor.
In 2020, Dad officially retired and gifted me his company. I felt incredibly grateful! By the grace of God, it survived the pandemic and has been quite successful to this day. Now I'm excited to launch my new brand and continue crafting meaningful films for my couples. My dad's legacy has left a profound impact on my life and career. Thank you to all of my couples for entrusting me with capturing part of your legacy! -Trevor
