This seems to be a theme this week. I’ve had a few different conversations about this topic.
We have NO idea what others have been through. So before we compare ourselves to anyone else’s Social Media “best life” or judge others….it’s a good thing to think about. 🌟
I remember years and years ago, I was in the middle of healing during my divorce and someone messaged me praising me for how wonderful my life seemed! It WAS wonderful….and! I was experiencing one of the most heart wrenching things we can experience at that time.
It’s not that I was faking it….I desperately needed to focus all of my energy on the best parts of my days as I was healing. I wasn’t sharing yet…I was still in the sacred part of all of it. I experienced a very loving divorce and it was still one of the hardest things I’ve been through!
My point is….we just don’t know much someone has gone through to choose their joy that you see in them ☺️ You’d probably be surprised ♥️

I decided to move to Florida! To be on the east coast again and live somewhere warm…..to be closer physically to family and friends. ♥️ I really loved visiting Tampa and am excited to settle there soon.
But this is my detour “why”! My dad just turned 80 in April and I haven’t lived near him and my stepmom for a long time now (since junior high really)! And so I decided to come to ft myers to spend a few months getting some quality time in with them! 🤩
I’m like 4 days in and so happy with my decision. Having Cooper here with me is even more epic than having just visited.
What I CAN tell you is that moving across the country on a heart driven reason, is definitely courageous. I don’t say that to pat my own back….I say it from experiencing the emotions….the second guessing….the releasing and letting go of a life I knew very well! (all your comforts you spend typically years building!)
A week or so ago I had “that” moment! “What in the f@ am I doing?! Uprooting our lives for life back east that I can only IMAGINE how it’s going to be?! This is just crazy! It’s not like I’m being relocated! It’s not like I have even ANY sense of what is there for me!”😵‍💫
Then a few hours after my moment, my dad was in the hospital (he’s ok and honestly, they don’t know what happened) but my “why” was quickly confirmed for me.
My strong heart pull brought me here and I will figure it all out like I always do and always have!
And now I have this time ♥️ and I’m in it and I KNOW…that I’m exactly where I am supposed to be (and even if the only way I know is because I tell myself that!) ….that’s all that matters to me.🤩 if I don’t follow my heart…no one else will 🤷🏻‍♀️😍
I wanted to share (if you’re still reading this….thank you) And I wanted to share in case someone needed to hear it! I acknowledge…these heart and gut decisions can be challenging AF to step into sometimes, but choose YOU every time! You will never regret choosing where your soul is guiding you 🌟

My first time in Austin didn’t disappoint (even though I’m not moving there Re! 🤣)
I’m so happy we ended up staying an extra day on our journey!
From a cool vibe coffee experience at Radio Coffee & Beer……to an epic and luxurious nights stay at ARRIVE hotel (coopers favorite! I can confirm that for sure!!)……to getting to see my dear friend Re Perez and experience an amazing dinner with tons of laughter❣️
I will be back for an actual proper visit!

It’s not so much about burning the bridge….but about releasing..:letting go….acceptance…and most of all…gratitude for EVERYTHING❣️
I decided to let go of my amazing & beautiful loft in San Diego. I sooooo loved living there! There was so much I loved about it including watching fireworks from my bed 😍
I also let go of my awesome Jeep 🥲 I literally thought I would NEVER sell her but my dog is 11 now and I wasn’t able to take him places on my own b/c it wasn’t safe for him to jump out of it at the high distance (and he weighs in at 70lbs so me picking him out of it also wasn’t an option!)…..so I sold my Jeep for my dog 🐕♥️ after all…..we have to have priorities❣️
And last….I decided to move to florida 🤩 (I know that there are a lot of political opinions on that and I’d love if you’d keep those to yourself in the comments :)) this is MY story 🥰)
I started feeling super far from my family and friends (and their families) and I still wanted to live somewhere warm….and I visited Tampa and loved it there 😍
So I’m deciding to move I also let go of my relationship, so a lot of releasing for me❣️
I feel beyond grateful for my 14 years in San Diego. It is such a beautiful and wonderful place to live and my heart just feels so incredibly full and also complete ♥️
I’m super excited for next steps and this next phase of my life and what adventures will be opening up for coop and I 😍

It’s a new year🎉✨
That always feels fresh to me 🤩
It’s not every new year that I come outta the gate ready and running. Sometimes…..like this year…I use January to look back on the year before and use the info for what to bring forward, what to let go of, what new things and direction I want to create and energy to connect into.
It’s like traffic 🚘 if you ever notice when you’re on the freeway and see an open lane to go further faster with more ease……but you have to first slow down to let a car go next to you so that you can actually get to the open lane 🤷🏻‍♀️ ya! Kinda like that. Propelling forward by slowing up a bit allows you more accurate speed 😉
Well I’m excited about the things I’m leaving behind and going to be trying on a few mew things coming up that I’m also excited about! It feels like the change I’ve been working on are coming to some clarity…..wishing you clarity too 👓

When we’re both in line at Starbucks! 🤣😂
We started going to Starbucks every morning a few years ago. I think it lasted about a year & half. (Of the every morning anyway)
Coop discovered the pup cup and started dragging me there. It was pretty embarrassing at first as people saw me arguing with my dog as to why we are not going to Starbucks.
Then we started to get to know the baristas and loved them….. and I loved starting my day connecting with friendly familiar homies in person to start my day 😍🤩
Now that most of the world knows (because ofCOVID) …it’s so incredible to at least start your day having an in person connection when you work from home 🥰
Although expensive 🤣…..my joy meter spiked because of it …. and I call that self care❣️
