Meet the newest member of the family, Aurora!

This little kitten was left in a dumpster with her brothers and sisters by some sorry excuse for a human..

Now she lives with my family at our home and within 1 day, went from shy and cautious to loving and confident!

Excited to watch her grow and be part of her journey.

DJing last night for Octoberfest!

Not very impressive, I know.. but would you believe me if I told you I was weighing 132lbs earlier this year and put on over 30 pounds of muscle in less than 3 months?!?.. a lot has happened between now and then for me.. Great friends have passed on, an 8 relationship came to an end, I moved out of the comfort of my parents home, I quit my Job I wasn't happy at without another one lined up.. for awhile there it was not only the darkest time of my life thus far but also the most expensive and I was not living healthy (mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually).. at a certain point I got tired of feeling sick and tired and decided everyday to wake up with the attitude of "I'm gonna get it!" Which led me to a chiropractor a friend recommended, that's nothing short of magic, to address my chronic neck pain (Chiropractic Connection).. on the first adjustment I was pain free for the first time in years and as I drove home I realized that all the mental/emotional things I was carrying with me didn't have the same effect now that I wasn't in constant pain.. from there I started to replace my bad habits with good ones, eating healthy, working out everyday, playing music again regularly, going out dancing and spending time in nature.. as I got better, so did my life.. I ended up landing a job I'm really happy at that doubled my salary, rekindled my relationships with friends and family, got my living space (mostly) organized, made new friends, started reintegrating into the yoga and music communities I had been a part of and now I'm in the process of accomplishing one of my life long goals of becoming a home owner.. and through all this I've learned that
Life happens, and it's up to you too make it what you want it to be.. if you got pain, address it.

And if you are in a low.. just remember that before a vaulter reaches the highest point in their jump, they go to their lowest.. so embrace it, feel it, move through it and catapult yourself into that next chapter!

And remember, we are all in this together.

Congratulations to my longest running friend .. I still remember when we were kids catching crawdads in the creek, playing hide and go seek, wrestling, trying to recreate JackAss stunts, doing parody music videos and more!

Really glad you found your one my friend and your are a lucky man because is a gem! And she's lucky too cause you are the man!

Excellent journey across "lake" Hodges.. literally had to crawl on the way back due to knee deep sinking sand lol but was well worth it and we did find some water.

We talked to a park ranger and asked why it was all dried up and he said Damn.. And Is like, Damn.. like apparently the Damn is leaking
