Our Story
Casa del Rey was founded by Alicia & Guillermo Rey in 1971 in Temple City, California.
In 1982 Alicia & Guillermo’s son, Art Rey, opened Casa del Rey Mexican Restaurant in San Dimas, California. The original location was in downtown on Bonita Ave. In 1986 owners, Art & Jeanette Rey, relocated to the current location on Bonita Avenue in San Dimas, across from Chaparral Bowling Lanes, east of the 57 fwy and west of San Dimas Avenue.
Casa del Rey has a wide variety of Premium Tequilas for the excellent Margaritas, which come blended or on the rocks, single, double or in a pitcher, regular or with fruit, salted rim or not.
Happy Hour 2:30pm - 6:00pm Monday thru Friday! $1 off all cocktails, beers, & wine; 50% off all appetizers.
Casa del Rey does not use lard in any item. We offer a selection of vegetarian items; we do have shared frying oil.
Casa del Rey offers a cozy, covered, non-smoking patio which is heated in cooler weather and misted in warmer weather. The patio is available for private parties/events with reservation only.
There are flat screen tvs in the bar & patio.
A Party Menu is available for your special occasions, however, any menu item can be prepared for large orders.
