We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Kevin Fisher-Paulson, a beloved regular and supporter of Gentilly over the years. We are sending lots of love to his family and he will be sincerely missed.

All right Jerry Weekend at Gentilly kicks off tonight!!! Six Foot Banditos start at 8:30 this eve. We also have an amazing new menu so if you haven’t checked it out yet then come on down.

We are excited to announce a jam packed weekend of events for Jerry Day. We look forward to partying with all of you.

Tomorrow night we are hosting our favorite Rockabilly duo Jimbo Trout and Steve Bass. We will also be serving up an amazing Smoked Sazerac featuring Balcones Rye for $12. We also have a BRAND NEW MENU. So come on down and check it all out!

We will be opening at 11AM tomorrow for Sunday Streets! We will be offering small bites and a full bar. Also some great non alcoholic drinks! Food can be taken to-go as well for when you are walking around.

Come in to Gentilly tonight to see our friends Sushi and Cheeseburger Jazz it up on guitar and sax! Try our cocktail special, the Whipped Hibiscus Honeydrop! With Occitan gin, lemon, hibiscus honey syrup, egg white and a mezcal spritz, it’s a new take on an old Gentilly classic.

Essie has been playing at Gentilly for a few years now and she is absolutely one of our favorites Come down tomorrow night and enjoy an amazing mix of her originals music and some covers.

We have the Harvey Milkbanger, a delicious drink with house infused citrus vodka, Galliano, coconut cream, pineapple, lime, orange twist and also some bright beautiful Jell-O shots. Jello-Shots are one for $2 and 3 for $5. Come on down and celebrate pride NOLA style.

In honor of Nation Sazerac Day we decided to switch ours up and give a nod to the original Cognac version of the drink by going with a fantastic brandy from our friends over at Argonaut. Stop by and give it a go tonight or whenever you're in next. Or, pick up a bottle yourself and make it at home. Here's how:

2oz. Argonaut Saloon Strength Brandy
3 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
1-2 dashes Pernod
Sugar to taste
Stir with ice and strain into your favorite glass and garnish with a lemon twist
Enjoiy!
