We finished and delivered another beautiful custom table. This one is rustic alder with copper tinted resin and is 9 feet long and 3 1/2 feet wide with removable leaves on the ends.

Last weekend was great with Lost Sierra Artist and Crafters at Plumas Pines. Almost wiped me out of stuff so we milled a bunch of stuff up and will be crafting some new stuff soon.

One more day for us at Plumas Pines. Yesterday was a great day, beautiful weather and lots of great sales. We'll be bringing some more stuff down today to fill the booth up again. We are getting low on a few things but still have plenty of awesome hand crafted pieces and some great last minute gifts for dad. Hope to see you there.

We're proud to be partnered up with claires-kitchen.com again this year. Starting June 1st at Crescent mills Saturday market we will have BBQ grilling gift baskets and these spice combo packs. Almost done putting the baskets together just a little more work on the boards. Have a great weekend everyone.

Well today we will be dropping off 7 bird baths at the Blairsden Garden Center. There's cedar, pine and some type of willow. I think it's willow, we found it in the Sugarloaf Burn below Frenchman Lake.

Just pulled the wood/sand mold off of this piece and it's looking awesome. The 2nd pour for this 2 tiered bath will happen tomorrow. The small bath on top is for pollinators and the there will be a larger one on the bottom for the birds. Look for this one and many others later this week at the Blairsden Garden Center. Plenty of time for a great Mother's Day present and don't forget some beautiful flowers to go with it.

Another bird bath done. This isn't an exact science so I've been experimenting and this sand form seems to be working good. I should be able to get a few more down to Blairsden Garden Center by this Thursday in time for Mother's Day.

I just dropped some more stuff off at Blairsden Garden Center so if anyone is interested better get there quick. The bird baths seem to go fast. The woods are still a little to wet to do much gathering but we have some stuff drying in the shop now. With any luck in a couple of weeks we should be able to work on another batch.

We have some great news. Blairsden Garden Center has agreed to carry our outdoor pieces. We already have some stuff there and working on more, like these bird baths. Check it out she's almost geared up for this summer, already a nice variety for your garden.

I started this experiment a few months ago inside and now I'm letting Mother Nature do the watering for me. I found a website that sells mushroom spore plugs that get drilled into logs. The directions said it would take up to 6 months for my Italian Oyster mushrooms to start growing. We'll see.

We're getting ready for today's craft fair (10 AM to 4 PM) at the Portola Memorial Hall. Hope to see all of you and your puppy dogs as we'll have our dog watering station for them.

Well I was going to finish all this yesterday but yet another Portola power outage kinda messed things up. We'll have a good inventory for April 6th over in Crescent Mills, looking forward to seeing my Eastern Plumas County neighbors at the 1st Saturday Market.

One of this weekends project is a bird bath. We hope to have a bunch of yard art type stuff this year.
