I am pleased and thankful to see the love, skill, knowledge, and values being displayed within my children. When I see their hearts, it hits different!
I love that the last child to leave the nest is going out with a bang. This last year Rikki has displayed evidence of her change, growth, compassion, and moral values. Hearing her speak within the community, observing her support her friend groups, reading her words posted in the Sun Reporter, witnessing her utilize her Willie Mays scholarship to reach the youth, and seeing her take an active role in her community lets me know that once she hits the campus of Hawaii Pacific University in a few months she will be just fine.
Thank you God for the love, protection, and hope that you have bestowed to her through Jesus Christ!

2024 The Family This year JN Outreach did not host a Teen Success Program. However, we did interact with a small group of teens from June Jordan School for Equity (JJSE), they call themselves “The Family”. Their High School journey began online due to COVID 19 but as the situation changed, in-person sessions re...
Exciting Day...my God daughter received her Masters in Couseling Psychology from Golden Gate University today...
We are so proud 👏 .
When marketing your business, often it's difficult to know how effective the strategy is OR if the money was well spent...but when your friends, family, & potential clients text you...BINGO!
Once you have the "right" eyes on you and your name, face, or brand is etched in their mind it's only a matter if time before you reap the reward (no matter how big or how small)!
"Open your mind to opportunity and opportunity will find you!"
Thank you to everyone who took the time to send, give, text, call, say or mentally wish me a happy birthday. I really appreciate it!
This has been a great year thus far. Truthfully, it has not been easy breezy but thankfully each day God grants me new mercy so whatever comes my way is doable, achievable, worth it and a lesson worth learning.
Again, thank you and you are appreciated!
UNCORKED is a good community event to meet people, see lots of smiling faces and steal hugs.
It feels good to know that your products created with love intended to give love instantly create cheer and joy.
Thank you Lord for the gift to give and receive love!

Laugher is good and it has the ability to release tension. So go ahead and show off your biggest smile from time to time...not just for you but for others too!
How do you create change?
You display Motivation and Love in areas where it's needed.
JN Outreach made a conscious decision to invest in a billboard on 6th Street xst Jessie in SF with the hope that it will catch someone's attention and spark personal change or cause reflection.
We may not be able to reach everyone in need but we will always make the effort and strategically make moves to shift the perspective and plant the seed.
A local non-profit WORKING in our communities to build a stronger foundation!

Today is an important day for JN Outreach Foundation. It's GIVING TUESDAY.
As many of you know we are a private funded SF non-profit. Meaning we do not have dedicted Federal, County, or Local corporations backing us. We are able to do what we do based on donations and pledges.
Please take a moment to watch our video and consider making a donation today. We need your help as we move forward with impacting our communities (not just SF Bayview, we support all communities where need is required to include Texas, Las Vagas, Alabama, Tennessee, and Michigan).
To see our big picture contribution feel free to schedule an in-person or virtual appointment with us. We will be happy to meet with you to discuss our real work as well as present our fluid business plan.
n our effort to support community leaders within the Bayview JN Outreach is pleased to present Blackmen Enhanced (Founder Robert Newt, Jr.) with a certificate of recognition, a letter documenting our salute to their work within the community, and a financial donation which can be used to help them further their efforts to continue to pushing their misson and movement fruition.
As a local non-profit we understand that many people see the work but often do not support the boots on the ground effort. In support of the unseen work, JN Outreach Foundation will continue our work in partnership with other community leaders to build a strong foundation within our communities to shift perspective, impact change, and improve local bay area neighborhoods.
Thank you, Mr. Newt, for serving the Bayview community!
You are a valuable part of the foundation and structure which builds the value of our local communities.
TSS Session 7
Ms. LaTasha Knighten worked with the teens on an important topic that all humans need, Conflict Resolution. There was a great lengthy interactive conversation accompied by role play and a deep look at roles, accountability, the importance of conversation, the need to use words to explain emotions, the reason behind inserting a cooling off period, and knowing when to walk away.
The tools the teens learned during this session will help them be better children for their parents/guardians, better friends, and better citizens. While they may not apply each of the tool we (the JNO Facilitators) feel confident that the teens will be able to work through conflict and make better choices should situations arise at home, at school, at work, and in life in general.
Each teen received a 30-Day Teen Journal (Rejuvenation of Mind, Body, & Soul for Teens) and the girls receieved a copy of Pretty Good Advice to help them document their journey, review their past, figure out emotions, and plan for a stress free future.

JN Outreach took our teens to the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco. When we arrived at the Museum we were greeted with love by the staff (It helps when your mom “Beverly Atkins” is the Security Supervisor). We had access to the entire museum, yet we spent most of our time at the Quilt and the Arts of Africa Exhibits. There was so much history in that one building.
After about 2.5 hours we gathered in front of the museum to review our findings and discuss our experience. It was chilly outside but well worth it as we exchanged our ideas, opinions, and challenges about the visit. Another successful TSS gathering. For more info go to www.jnoutreach.org/tss
Bay Area Teen headed to Jackson State University
We are so proud of and excited for Amariyeh McCulllough, a Bay Area resident who attended Wille Brown Middle School and Philip Burton Highschool. We were recently informed that he has been accepted to Jackson State University in Mississippi. While in highschool not only was he focused on his academic achievements he was also a tri-athalon (Football, Basketball, & Track).
The 2nd week of August 2022 with his dad (Norflis McCullough) by his side he will travel from the Bay Area and begin his college journey down South to pursue a degree in Engineering. We are grateful for the opportunity to offer him a $250 Scholarship which can be applied towards books or dorm expenses.
A black man's journey may be filled with obstacles and challenges but with a strong support system in place to provide love, prayer, sound advice, encouragement, and cultural wisdom he can overcome and become an outstanding leader and use previous obstacles and challenges has a testament to his faith and mental strength. Amariyeh, JN Outreach is proud to be apart of your journey!
JN Outreach Foundation was proud to hear that Reggie Brown was accepted to one of the top HBCU in the country, Clark Atlanta University.
He graduated with a 3.2 GPA from Riordan High School where he was enrolled in the Robotics Engineering Club. Not only is he a fast learner he is also fast on the track. He was able to maintain good grades and be a vital part of the Track team.
As he begins his college journey in Atlanta Georgia, he will pursue a degree in Engineering. While he will be miles away from home, we have no doubt that he will continue to be diligent in his studies and remain grounded in his foundation.
JN Outreach is excited to present Reggie with a $500 Scholarship to help with the purchase of books or essential needs.
Keep up the good work, your California family and friends are here to continually support and pray for you!
In 2021 JN Outreach received its Green Certification. We are proud to say that we were and are still committed to impacting our community clients as well as our envirment. We are continously striving to be the change we want to see in our environment!
