We are thrilled to announce an exclusive guest chef dinner for 180 members with renowned chef Daisuke Muroi. He will be cooking an authentic Kaiseki-style Omakase menu accompanied by a sake pairing.

Mr. Muroi trained as an apprentice for nine years at 3-star Japanese restaurant “Ishikawa” in Kagurazaka and moved on to study for three more years at popular Kaiseki restaurant “Kimoto”. He took on an extensive knowledge of traditional Japanese cuisine and an appreciation for the thoughtful combination of ingredients passed down from his masters.

1. Fiction workshop with Cecile Pin

Part one: Building your Voice and Plot Thursday 11th May, 7 - 9pm

Part two: Building Characters and Setting Friday 26th May, 7 - 9pm

In this two-part writing workshop Cecile Pin will take you through the fundamentals of writing. There are between 15 and 20 places available to book, with 5 discounted places for members only. 

A series of writing workshops are commencing in May. These workshops will take place every other month and feature Reference Point’s favourite writers across genres.

2. Screening of Sisters with Transistors, May 12th, 7pm - 11.30pm

An intimate screening of Sisters with Transistors followed by a conversation with the director, Lisa Rovner. The evening will conclude with electronic serenades and performances by feeo and Avice Caro.

Exploring the idea of 'liminal space' - a coinage of anthropologist Arnold van Gennep - Rites of Passage is structured in correspondence with liminality's three stages concerning the idea of migration: separation, transition, and return.

Looking for a unique date idea in London this weekend? Check out the immersive audio installation, "VoiceLine," at the recently transformed Strand Aldwych public space!

180 Studios has partnered with and to launch three amazing works from 180 residents , , and .

From 8:00am to 8:00pm this weekend, the three bespoke works will be played on a high rotation on this unique installation created for audio storytelling. Spanning 170 meters and shaped by the history of the site, the VoiceLine uses 39 highly focused speakers to create a pathway of sound.

The art works included are:
”Sound of the Underground" by Jarvis Cocker from ;

"Black Corporeal (Breathing by Numbers)" by Julianknxx ,

and "Notes on Blindness" by John Hull, Peter Middleton, James Spinney .
