Truck Driver Helper / Mover / Laborer
The Junkluggers of Alameda County
Bay Haul of Fame is an eco-friendly alternative to conventional junk removal, light moving service and pick up and delivery service.
Key Aspects of the Role
Leadership: Responsible for keeping a team of movers accountable
Logistics: Responsible for the fulfillment of all jobs on the schedule and scheduling of same day bookings
Sales: Customer-facing role involving estimating jobs and maximizing job value
Opportunity: Potential to grow with the business into larger roles, such as Operations Manager or Dispatcher.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Customer service is the most important aspect of this role: Interact with customers and sell the service when on site
Safely load, transport, and unload customer items in accordance with state and local laws
Train new hires for subordinate roles
Ensure all trucks and equipment are accounted for and in good working order
Ensure all decisions made are in the company’s best interest
Adhere to the company’s safety policy.
Must Have Competencies:
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Strong verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of truck operation, care, and general maintenance
Ability to lift 75 lbs.
Valid driver's license with a CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
Comfortable with technology (e.g., tablets, apps, GPS, etc.)

Founder, Allen Bais, created Bay Haul of Fame in order to better service the small businesses in his community. While serving as a commercial property manager in Downtown San Francisco. Allen frequently solved issues for tenants regarding junk removal and power washing. As demand for these services continued to rise he struggled to find vendors with a balance of quality and affordability. When local companies failed to deliver or keep schedule Allen would take the job into his own hands.
The vision for Bay Haul of Fame became a reality, when local businesses witnessed his hard work and quickly began inquiring, with a repurposed personal vehicle and a professional grade pressure washer. Allen’s customer base quickly grew beyond his initial properties.Word of mouth and great reviews inspired him to take the business full time seeking to service small business throughout San Francisco.

The mission for Bay of Haul of Fame is to bring professionalism and affordable prices to our clientele in the Bay area. We work hard every day to ensure our waste collection and pressure washing services bring value to the customer and their community.
