TBT - Our beloved Pat Coleman received the Patron's Award at the Assumpta Awards Dinner at St. Mary's Cathedral in 2012. We were so proud and happy for her in receiving this distinguished award by the Archdiocese of San Francisco. She worked tirelessly in Shipwreck's Health Ministry, was a Minister of Christian Service, and helped Shipwreck in so many ways. She carried on the legacy of her father Dr. Arthur H. Coleman, the first black physician in the Bayview-Hunter's Point district. He founded the Arthur H. Coleman Medical Center in 1960 which she managed. Pat passed away in March 2019.

TBT to May 20, 2016. On this evening, Deacon Sergio Gomez participated in the Institution of Acolytes at St. Dominic's in San Francisco. This was an important step in his journey to being ordained a Deacon. What a joyful experience for his Shipwreck friends and family who attended. Deacon Sergio - we love you.

💐TBT to 2014 when we celebrated our annual Blessing of Married Couples. Next week, Father Louis and Mother Bernice Greenblat will celebrate their 73rd Wedding Anniversary (First photo). There few in these photos who have gone on to glory. May they continue to rest in peace 🙏

TBT to Holy Thursday 10 years ago. Today happens to be Father Paul's Birthday. The homemade bread Father Paul is offering was made (for numerous years) by Minister Thelma Bible (RIP). The Adoration altar was prepared by Myrna and Conrad Bulos for many years. Myrna continues to prepare it to this day. Angela Escobar has been offering the flower arrangements for the Adoration altar for the last few years. May your Holy Thursday be blessed.✝️

TBT ...June 2013... This was the Sunday that Father Rey presented his beautiful artwork to Shipwreck. It hangs in our Eunice Willette Room.

We will be celebrating the National Day of Prayer at our 10:45 am Gospel Mass tomorrow. Father Martin will be our presider and Deacon Larry will be our homilist. 🖤❤️💚💛🙏🏼

Shipwreck Family - you may remember Father Anthony Bozeman, SSJ from past events at Shipwreck. He was our revivalist in 2013, our guest presider for MLK in 2019, and attended Shipwreck's memorial for Father Jim Goode. He will be the Revivalist at the upcoming Revival at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Oakland.
