The World Team USA staff goes beyond the mundane, whether it is in the studio or in the community. We make ourselves people to remember – not by being tough or obnoxious – but by leaving a good first impression and a lasting favorable impression to students and everyone we meet. We believe that in order to service our students properly, all instructors must totally commit to the martial arts.

We strive for superiority through our unique Muay Thai curriculum which combines a modern approach and traditional values.

The staff at World Team USA is passionately dedicated to taking the benefits of Muay Thai training into the 21st Century and embraces teamwork first and foremost.

To guarantee that our students receive up-to-date instruction, our instructors attend professional training on a regular basis. We recognize the difference between those who train themselves and those who can train others. The ability to pass on the knowledge and cultivate proficiency in Muay Thai is a skill we regularly sharpen. Thus, all of our instructors can effectively communicate the dynamics of the art and its applications – a skill that is becoming increasingly rare in the martial arts industry.

DIEGO HERZOG

Head Master Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Instructor

Diego “Nosferatu” Herzog is a professional MMA fighter with a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu from Florianópolis, Brazil. Currently residing in Northern California (Morgan Hill), he is passionate about traveling around the globe training, teaching, and fighting.
Diego is the head master Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor at World Team USA. Training with the Ralph Gracie elite fight team in California and running the Diego Herzog BJJ program is where you’ll find him on an average day.
During his teen years while training in Brazil, Diego’s day often ended with blood on his gi. Henceforth, Herzog is also known as ‘Nosferatu’, nicknamed after the famed vampire. Receiving his black belt in 2006, Nosferatu has over 15 years of Martial Arts training including brazilian jiu-jitsu, muay thai, boxing, judo, capoeira, and wrestling. He also holds a BA in Physical Education & Sports from UNISUL – Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina in Florianópolis.
Diego Herzog moved to the United States in 2010, starting his stateside journey in SoCal. Now living in NorCal with his wife, Virginia ‘Jenny’ Herzog and his furry best friend Estrela, he enjoys surfing, hiking, playing soccer and chess during his free time. Passionate about traveling for seminars, training with elite athletes, and fighting for competition — Diego ‘Nosferatu’ Herzog is a seasoned athlete and competitor.

CONRAD BUI

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor

Conrad Bui is a BJJ black belt under Diego Herzog and Marcel Fortuna. He is an American Cup (double gold medalist at brown belt), US Open, Jiu-Jitsu By the Bay, Bay Area Jiu-Jitsu and Abu Dhabi qualifier gold medalist. He also placed at the Pan Jiu-Jitsu and No Gi BJJ World Championships as well as numerous other tournaments. Dr. Conrad Bui brings a life-time of martial arts experience to his teachings and assists with the day classes as a Muay Thai coach.
