Olive Page is a 49 year old Woodford woman – a cherished sister of Paul, Tony (Teddy), Gertie, Ethna, Pat and Esther, a valued member of our community but most importantly a precious mother to her three daughters – all of whom are still in full time education.

In December 2022 Olive was diagnosed with bowel cancer. After surgery and six months of treatment, all was going well and the year ended with a positive outlook. Unfortunately, 2024 was not kind to Olive as she became very ill and received the news that her cancer has returned and is now Stage 4.

Cáirde Olive was formed in September 2024 by her former classmates, working with her sisters and an outpouring of support from the wider community in Woodford and beyond.
Our focus is on removing some of Olive’s understandable anxiety for her daughter’s future. We have started this fundraising campaign and we are asking for your help.

We are holding a Benefit Concert & Super Draw in the Lough Rea Hotel & Spa at 7:30 PM on 30th October 2024. Performing on the evening will be – Seán Keane, Evoke & Mike Denver and a Host of Stars including John Luke Reynolds, The CEO’s, Sabrina Fallon and Liam Gardiner. Our M.C. Cyril Farrell will also host a draw for some fabulous prizes on the night.

We are offering two tickets to this event:
€50 – admission to concert and entry to draw
€10 – entry to draw only OR three tickets for €25
An auction will take place between acts on the evening for a selection of rare sporting memorabilia – check out our iDonate page for links to advanced bidding.
