As part of UC Berkley's Labor Summer Internship program, we hosted Jazmin and Lucas who helped us organize in 691 O'Farrell, tackling going into a bilingual building cold. By the end of their internship, the building had a majority of tenant signatures allowing them to form a Tenants Union. Congratulations Jazmin and Lucas, and thank you for all your hard work this summer!

Congratulations to the tenants of 759 Capp Street who faced their landlord and demanded to negotiate over capital improvement fees, as tenants face $50 - $120 rent increase. 100% of the building tenants came out to meet with their landlord and voiced how these fees would impact their households.
