Oskar (tuxedo domestic shorthair) & Raul (Gray domestic shorthair) desperately need a home!

Fuzzy Butt Rescue And TNR rescued Oskar and Raul after they were abandoned on the street in San Francisco!

Oskar & Raul are microchipped, neutered, dewormed, negative for FIV and FELV (a good thing) and vaccinated! We are waiving their adoption fee to get them into a good home together. They are about 11-12 months old.

Oskar and Raul are such sweet boys. They are pretty independent but loving. They both love to cuddle and can be so affectionate once they warm up to you. Oskar is more interested in being picked up than his buddy and brother Raul.

Raul definitely doesn’t like being picked up as much as Oscar but they are both overall low maintenance and loving boys. Oskar and Raul seem to love other cats and have gotten along well with the cats they’ve been fostered with.

If you’re interested in adopting, please text (only) 310-346-7583 or email [email protected]

We just rescued Raul & Oskar after they were abandoned on Geary Avenue in San Francisco. These two adorable babies are very friendly and it’s hard to understand how anyone just abandons such sweet babies like they are mere objects.

Please donate to their expenses as we need to get them fully vetted before they can go to their new homes.

Do you know anyone who is looking to adopt a pair of very friendly, very sweet young kitten babies? These two are about 14 weeks old and are as affectionate as they are beautiful. Get in touch if you’d like to adopt.

Strike & Solidarity have been adopted!

We originally rescued Strike and Solidarity from a shelter in Los Banos, California where they were at risk of being “put to sleep” forever. Instead FBR took them into our adoption program: getting them fully vetted and ready for adoption.

We are so grateful that our friend and volunteer Meredith opted to foster fail with these two cuties and make them a permanent addition to her family. Have a great life Strike and Solidarity! Thanks for adopting Meredith.

Selena has been adopted!

We originally rescued Selena from being “put to sleep” forever at a shelter in Fresno. Selena was too much love for her foster home, so her foster Sophia decided to adopt her outright! Look at these two lucky ladies! Have a great life you two.

*Emergency* Donations have been substantially down lately preventing us from rescuing animals in need we are being contacted about.

Chiron, a cat who was shot in Los Banos, California who is partially paralyzed from the the pellet has been with us for about a year living in a foster home. He needs veterinary care now as it appears he is blocked and we do not have the funds currently to pay for the extensive additional care he needs.

Can you help?

Do you have Care Credit and would allow us to use it to until we can reimburse you the veterinary costs? Are you willing to front the money for our dear Chiron and have us pay you back? Can you donate? We estimate that it could be as much as $5000 or $6000 for Chiron’s veterinary care today.

Will you help help Chiron again? Please DM if you can.

We were asked to take these three cats who are scheduled to be killed at a shelter in Fresno.

We have foster volunteers available. We have adopters willing to adopt. What we don’t have is enough donations coming in the door to pay our veterinary and other bills.

Please, please, please donate if you can. Help us be able to continue to help save the lives of animals like these three. We can’t continue to help animals without the financial support of folks like you. Please help.

Leah got adopted!

We rescued Leah a few weeks ago from being killed at a shelter in Fresno. Luckily the little lady wasn’t with us very long and found a family fast. Have a great life Leah!

Autumn was adopted!

We rescued Autumn several weeks ago from being “put to sleep” forever at a shelter in Fresno. Thankfully, it didn’t take a very long time for a family to meet her and decide she was the cat friend for them. We are so grateful for the awesome families who take stellar care of the animals they adopt from us. We are so grateful for all the people who choose adoption over supporting the cruel pet industry by buying animals from pet stores and breeders. Have a great life Autumn!

Curly has been adopted!

Never underestimate the power of compassion to help animals find homes. We rescued Curly from a shelter in Fresno where he was scheduled to be “put to sleep” forever. The shelter didn’t know what we would find out after we rescued him: Curly was FIV-positive and had kidney impairment due to being older (he’s probably at least 8 years old). These two things aren’t the most appealing things to most adopters—-but Curly’s personality is bigger than his health challenges and luckily for him that meant he still found a home to call his own last week. Have a great life Curly! Thanks so much for adopting, Sophie!

Adopt Leah!

Contrary to the look on Leah’s face in this photo— Leah is a very sweet, playful cat who loves snuggling, fetching toys and otherwise playing with toys. Leah is young (likely less than 10 months) and would make any family a great companion. Perhaps you’re the great home for little Leah we are looking for? Get in touch here or email [email protected] if you’d like to meet Leah.

Please consider making a donation to help us continue our life saving, suffering rescuing work.

Please come out to Scissor Me Whiskers Too, 317 Clement Street in the Richmond neighborhood of SF (near ) until 2:30pm today and meet your new best friend! We are always collecting donations for our life-saving, suffering reducing work—so stop by even if you’re not considering adopting and make a donation of supplies or cash.

Adopt Esmerelda!

We rescued Esme from a shelter in Fresno where she was scheduled to be “put to sleep” forever. Poor Esme did nothing to deserve to end up in such a vulnerable spot — her people just decided they wouldn’t take care of her anymore and thus abandoned her at the shelter in question. The shelter in question decided Esme wasn’t worth putting up for adoption so opted to kill her if we didn’t admit her into our adoption program. Esme is extremely sweet, loved watching bird and squirrel shows on television and loves to snuggle up under blankets. She’s about 7-8 years old. The only thing missing from her life is a special person or family. Could that be you? Interested in meeting or potentially adopting Esmeralda? Get in touch here or email [email protected]

Esther has been adopted!

We recently rescued Esther from being “put to sleep” forever at a shelter in Fresno. It took sweet Esther less than a week to find a home in the Bay Area. It is a honor to be able to help these animals go from danger to the good life. Have an amazing life Esther! Special thanks for foster volunteer Talia for her help with Esther! Thank you for adopting Pam!

RESCUE! Yesterday we at Fuzzy Butt Rescue And TNR rescued 6 cats from a shelter in the Central Valley where they were scheduled to be killed. All of them needed extensive veterinary care which has already cost us $1655 to get them ready for adoption. Please help us by donating to these beautiful deathrow inmates we just sprung. Welcome Selena, Leah, Esther, Autumn, Montgomery and Esmeralda who all would thank you if they could.

If you’re interested in adopting one of these beautiful cats, please get in touch here or by email [email protected]

Sarah Needs A Home!

We don’t know how it’s possible but Sarah is still with us at ! We originally rescued Sarah as a stray with her babies (they’ve all since been adopted) last summer in Fresno, California. Sarah is a very social cat who would do awesome with someone who works mostly from home (she loves human company!). Sarah is playful, funny and smart and we are hoping you will help us help her by helping us get her a home by Spring! Interested in adopting? Get in touch here or [email protected]
