Ever wondered what happens when you leave an egg in vinegar overnight? Our Physics Teacher, Chana Goodman, breaks down her Inquiry-based teaching technique during a discovery experiment with her students. The IB approach in our International Track emphasizes exploration and understanding, making learning memorable and meaningful rather than simply providing answers.

At LFSF, students are encouraged to question themselves 🤔, create initiatives 💡, and explore new skills 🎨 through diverse clubs and activities. From debating 🗣️ to coding 💻 and promoting DEIJ initiatives 🌍, they engage in campus life, fostering personal growth and a strong sense of belonging within a community of shared interests. 🤝✨

In this last episode, maternelle students move their bodies and enhance their gross motor skills in the Motricité Room. Through fun courses: they jump 🦘, climb 🧗‍♂️, straddle 🏄‍♀️, slip through tunnels, navigate while on a moving object... They develop their sense of balance and coordination, and have a blast! 🎉

Julia Bourdet an illustrator, screenwriter, and art director, currently in completing a residency at the Villa Albertine. She is completing a zero-carbon journey from Chicago to San Francisco to meet Americans and learn about their views on climate change. This week she met with our Gr7 students. Our students came back to school this week! For the parents in our community, this means the return of lunchboxes… or relying on our yummy school lunches! What a fantastic first week of school at the Lycée! Our students were thrilled to reconnect with their favorite teachers and friends, and meet the new faces of our community, including Amina Maine, Primary principal and Laurence Champomier, Primary Principal on Sausalito. We also had the pleasure of welcoming the newly appointed Consul General of France, Florian Cardinaux on our Ashbury campus, who later in the week also visited our Middle and High School campus.

From La Petite Ecole to K, students as young as 3 and as old as 6 have fun with numbers and gain confidence!

Today was the last day of school for all of our students! On that occasion, we wanted to share a little bit of one of our students' life at the LFSF. August is a lifer, he's known for his incredible roles in the last theater plays. At the fall he will be studying Neuroscience and Art History. You want to know where?

This morning, our Gr12 students learned of their Baccalauréat results! And 100% passed, 93.4% with honors. Teachers and administration are so so proud of their results that reflect the efforts and hard work invested by our Class of 2024.
