¡ Feliz Día de Mu***os ! 🌺🕯️
Students (Gr5-12) in Spanish classes celebrated this special day with colorful crafts and a deep dive into Mexican culture. They especially enjoyed the sugar skull making and getting creative with traditional makeup!💀🌹
From the drummers on the ASH campus, to the fierce tigers on the SAU campus, the entire Lycée is wishing you a Happy Halloween. A big thank you again to the Parent Association for building the best Haunted Houses to date on our primary campuses.

This week, we welcomed Vince Yeun from Refuse Refuse San Francisco, who inspired our students to participate in neighborhood cleanups by discussing recycling, effective practices, and better habits.🧹💚
The students were very engaged and showed a lot of interest in the topic. They asked great questions and shared their own experiences with litter and recycling. ♻️
Proud to say our LFSF students have already made a difference with cleanups at Crissy Field and Ocean Beach this year! Let’s keep it going! 💪♻️

The goal was for students to learn to run at their own pace, understand their abilities, and recognize their limits.
Friendships were built, and teamwork was highlighted with high fives at the finish line, showing that cooperation matters alongside competition.
We want to congratulate all the runners—students, parents, teachers, and staff—for their dedication and effort !
During , Gr 8 students took part in a unique escape game called "Ocean de savoirs". The goal was to promote scientific culture 🔬 and challenge common misconceptions about science, helping students think critically. They had a lot of fun following the different clues... and finding the lock code ! 🔓🤩
Last Sunday LFSF’s LEAF club (Lycée Environmental Action Force) held a neighborhood cleanup at Duboce Park. Our members collected 3 ½ bags of trash!

This initiative is all about teaching kids safety lessons : they learn why it’s essential to wear a yellow jacket for visibility and a helmet for protection. It also helps them understand how eco-friendly transportation can make a positive impact on our environment.
On our primary campuses, our students and families now come on their own power, at least once a month! A big thanks to the parent organizers!
It’s World Teachers' Day ! Today, we honor them ! 👩🏫👨🏫
Through their compassion, patience, and dedication, they inspire our students to reach their full potential. 🌟
They are the backbone of our school, and our success is built on their passion and commitment, especially in our bilingual and multilingual environment, which brings its own challenges! 🌍📚
We are grateful for the care they provide to their students, the resilience they demonstrate, and the countless ways they enhance our community.
What a joy it is to reconnect with our alumni !
It’s always a blast reliving those unforgettable school days, allowing our alumni to share experiences and reflect on how the excellent education they received at the Lycée shaped their lives and careers! Once a Lycée Bear, always a Lycée Bear!
Our GR5 students are exploring Quebec’s history 🇨🇦, nature, and culture—all in French ! They went hiking, built a treehouse 🌳, and visited Montmorency Falls 🌊. They toured the Château de Frontenac 🏰 and enjoyed lunch at the Plains of Abraham. At the Wendake ecomuseum, they learned about Huron-Wendat heritage and had a blast at the Circus School! 🎪 They’re thriving and making new friends along the way ! ✨
At the Lycée, we focus on encouraging exploration, building community, and creating experiences that help our students grow and thrive.
Our primary students on the ASH campus have been training in the Golden Gate park for the X-Lycée event coming up next week!

Our Gr10 and 12 students explored the vibrant Mission District with their Spanish Teachers. A huge thank you to the community center for welcoming them with open arms and thoughtful gifts! They savored delicious Guatemalan pastries called gusano. Next, they visited , where they were inspired by powerful murals that reflect the Chicano movement and the rich legacy of Mexican muralism in California 🎨.
Our Gr6 students (from both the French and the International Tracks!) had an absolute blast in Tahoe! From hiking scenic trails to refreshing lake swims and exciting tree climbs, they explored the beautiful nature 🏞️🌳.
A unique setting outside of school where they could bond and develop a sense of belonging within their peer group. Students made new friends indeed and created unforgettable memories... They even had a dance party!
At the Lycée, we believe in the power of exploration, community and new experiences!
🌿🦎 Our ASH Grade 2 students had a very fun field trip to the Randall Museum! As part of their biodiversity and environmental theme, they explored California's habitats and ecosystems, learned the stories behind rescued animals, and deepened their appreciation for local wildlife. 🐍🐢 Touching snakes and turtles and watching a weasel eat were unforgettable highlights! 🐾 What a day of discovery!
Our high school students specializing in Humanities, Literature & Philosophy and Life & Earth Sciences had the incredible opportunity to attend a conference with the legendary Dr. Jane Goodall at the Goldstein Theater in San Francisco. Dr. Goodall's powerful talk on climate change inspired our students to deepen their understanding of environmental issues and take action for a sustainable future!
