With one foot in Tuscany and one in Piemonte, La Spinetta focuses on indigenous grape varietals, low yields, and green practices resulting in a selection of approachable yet robust and exciting wines. Fazzoletti with pesto, potatoes and green beans is a traditional Ligurian dish and one of our summertime faves. Fazzoletti means "little handkerchiefs" and the pesto is made from basil picked in the morning and blended into a vibrant green sauce before it ever sees the inside of a fridge. Bordiga is one of our favorite Northern Italian spirit producers. They've been making tremendous products since 1888, all from hand-harvested alpine herbs. This refreshing cocktail is as simple as it is complex: the herbaceousness of the amaro and vermouth really pop when shaken up with fresh lime juice.
