Free bale of Hay. Can be used for garden mulch, erosion control, or Halloween/fall decor. Maybe ok to feed goats. NOT ok to feed to rabbits or guinea pigs. It's a mix of oat, wheat, and barley hay with a lot of prickly weeds mixed throughout.

The bale is about 4'x2'x2' and weighs over 100 pounds. We can help load it into your pickup truck.

We are trying to stay open during this endeavor to provide essential items like feeder insects and hay. Follow us for more updates.

We still have lots of used tanks, cages, accessories, furniture, shelves, and more. A few dog and cat foods are on clearance as well. Come by and get it before it's gone!

These super sweet boys were abandoned outside our building this morning. We are in the middle of moving so we can't take them in. Picking them up today would be preferred. Any help is very much appreciated.

Today is April 20th or Four Twenty and we signed a lease on a new location. The address is Four Twenty Nine South Bascom Ave, in San Jose.

Moving soon and trying to lighten the load. Great products still on the shelves. If you need something in particular, call first, and we can set it aside for you.

We had 10 good years here on Notre Dame Ave but redevelopment is imminent and we must find a new building. Ideally, we want a small (i.e. affordable) location for six months to a year, while we do fund raising for the Pet Adoption Center for a larger space.

Anticipating questions:

Yes, we can take financial donations through PayPal, credit card, or cash in the store.

Don’t have an exact final day, but do have a couple of weeks to sell food and supplies. Also downsizing equipment, so look for deals in the used sections.

No pet surrenders, and no donations of equipment. We have our hands full.

Zoe, Mosey, & Baby here stopping by today to give you some information.
First thing- starting tomorrow (3-30) our hours of operation will be temporarily changing to: 11AM - 7PM.
Second- We are doing our best to keep everyone safe & comfortable during this strange time...SO... If you wish to have a no / minimum contact shopping experience please call the shop to place your order. Then you can chose to pay over the phone with your card & we will bring it out & load it in your vehicle OR come in to pay & take away. It will be ready to roll on a cart for you (we accept apple pay too).
Since supplies are slim- we cannot offer gloves & masks to every customer, but it won't hurt you image when you rock your own gear😁😁
The FRONT DOORS will be closed while we are open so there is no need to touch any door for entry/ exit. INSTEAD- come in the side entrance located in our parking lot.
We appreciate your support & everyones effort to stay healthy & keep our community safe.

Here's the quick review of the our 4 medical cases we are focusing on first...
Our piggie had his consultation at the Animal eye specialist & we will be removing the eye in the near future.
The rat came through surgery in fine style!
The bunnies... WELL...
They were taken for their spay & upon closer inspection... Pandora should be a "Parker" or a "Pete" anything a little more manly 🤯 At least they didn't cut him open to find out!
SO- 3 of them were actually less of a financial hit than we expected. But the last one will be more than we had estimated. With the exam fee discounted, it was still $176.
The enucleation won't be cheap even though they love the lil dude & are helping us all they can in the cost department. We are grateful to them for their help & confident in their skills- after all it's their specialty 😁
