Teaching the art of obedience through connection. Your dream relationship with your dog begins here!
A good conversation to have is the one we have with ourselves on a daily basis. Be kind to yourself with your inner dialogue and self talk.
Big changes don’t happen in one day or one training session.
Instead, with daily practice, the changes happen in little increments over time, leading to big changes as the end result.
If you are putting in the effort, you are doing great! Trust the process , stay tunnel visioned on the goal in front of you rather than the long term result .
The results will come as the reward of staying focused and not losing momentum.
The first expectation to set is to believe in yourself and trust in your abilities to make the small changes happen so the big changes have space to grow .
Life reminded me that I have a VERY important, #1 new priority to prioritize and implement into my day to day existence:
✨ Taking moments every day to just PAUSE in joy✨
💖It’s the secret Gamechanger. 💖
We all have things that light up our heart. ♥️
The ingredients that make up this scene are a few of mine.
✨Spending time with my girl Aura, always working on a new training element or challenge. Because perfection does not exist, but problem solving and reaching small and big goals do.
✨Sipping on an OUT OF THIIS WORLD Cappuccino with an amazing vibe as a backdrop to my environment.
✨A good tea to compliment a peaceful mood.
✨A good book that inspires me to connect with my soul and take my mind to new untraveled places.
✨Lastly, I relish sitting in thoughts of gratitude. This keeps me grounded, feeling balanced and motivated when life gets messy.
Thinking about what I am grateful for always reminds me that life is consistent in at least 4 things:
1. It is an undeniable beautiful experience and expression of love.
2. There is not growth without challenge. Knowing which paper towels work best for cleaning up the messes life often spills over is essential knowledge for quickly cleaning up and moving on.
3. Every day is completely new and yours.
4. Dogs will always and forever be the best gift to mankind that has ever existed. 🐺
Sending love , inspiration and gratitude for your day !🥳

I JUST …CANT…..HANDLE….THE…..CUTENESS!!! 😍
Everyone, it is my pleasure to introduce to all of you the absolutely adorable and amazing little Miss Riley to the Little Wolf Pack! 🤩
Riley is a 13 week old Bernadoodle puppy who is so full of joy, s***k, curiosity, sweetness and major character that she wins the hearts of all who meet her.
Speaking of which, one of the skills both Riley and her dedicated family are practicing as their first homework assignments is teaching calm meet n greets to help eliminate jumping up and excitement around affection.
Training happens in every moment so her owners are demonstrating leadership through No Talk, No Touch & No Eye Contact until Riley calms. Once calm, THEN she gets to enjoy neutral affection as a reward for her balanced behavior!
This is just one of many new skills Riley will be learning along her training journey in her Puppy Foundational Obedience program in order to set her up for a life is success shared with her family.
I am soooooo excited to be training with this little girl and can’t wait to share updates with all of you on her progress.
Welcome to the Little Wolf Family Riley! Love you girl! 💖
🐾
I always have mad respect for dog owners who haven’t desired to train their senior dog out of the pure desire to ensure their life is still filled with fulfillment and purpose.
Everyone it is my honor to introduce to you the absolutely extraordinary Pomeranian Fiona who has joined the Little Wolf pack for training.
Fiona is 9 years old but you would never know it as she is still full of vigor, amazing energy , and a joy for life that has her ready to show off her tricks by spinning, sitting pretty for you or grabbing her ball for a game of fetch.
I pretty much was calling her Queen Fiona the minute I met her and witnessed her fabulousness. 😍
This is one very lucky dog as her dedicated owner Gita sought out training in order to learn more about how to enrich her mentally on the day to day to ensure she still was learning new things, being challenged , had jobs to do and enjoyed a purpose to her 9 to 5 hustle.
As part of Fiona’s journey, we implemented various games that utilize her sense of smell and challenged her mind. Fiona is now :
1. Working for all her meals following provided cues and jobs to do.
2. Enjoying hunting for her food via a Snuffle Mat and Find It Games.
3. Practicing Yes work.
4. Daily recall drills for getting that body moving too!
5. Learning new skills consisting of Place work, Threshold manners and a luring heel.
We are just getting started and I am sooooooo excited to work with Fiona and Gita, keeping you updated on their progress.
Oh and just to bust any myths : YES! You CAN teach an old dog new tricks. 💖👊
Welcome to the Little Wolf family Fiona!!! Love you girl! .
Well Hello Cutie!!! 😍
Everyone it is my pleasure to introduce to all of you the amazing Barney who has joined the Little Wolf Pack for training .
We are already a few sessions in and Barney has been making so much progress in shaping new positive behaviors and learning new skills.
Right from the start we established crate training and utilization of a crate schedule to provide Barney a safe place to go and relax throughout the day. Not only did Barney love his new space, but the new structure also helped prevent past naughty behaviors like barking at guests when they entered and counter surfing for leftovers.
Remember this tip: Prevention first before behavior modification. Preventing your dog from practicing unwanted behaviors through boundaries is the first step to behavior modification and shaping new positive ones.
This handsome boy has also come leaps and bounds in learning boundaries around the house and yard in terms of it being a quiet space verses his past habits of barking and fence guarding. Calmness and balance looks good on your Barney!!
His owners Brittany and Shaun have done an amazing job practicing their homework each week being very dedicated to the process. Utilizing their newfound leadership roles, Barney now enjoys his follower role of walking nicely next to them on a loose leash . No more pulling for this boy!
Welcome to the Little Wolf family Barney! You are such a fun dog to train and I can’t wait for our next phase of the journey introducing you to dog neutrality and pack work . Keep up the great progress!
🐺
It’s always a really special moment that imprints on my heart whenever I witness my clients graduate their training series filled with pride, confidence and leadership empowerment that radiates out from their soul.
One such confident and beaming team who recently graduated that I am so, sooo, soooooooo proud of is my client Lisa and her gorgeous girl Stella.
Their training series targeted building a solid Leader | Follower relationship between Lisa and her dog built on clear communication, solid skill building , advocation for Stella’s needs for space around dogs and establishing a deeper level of trust through living their respective roles.
Lisa was one of those clients who’s love for her dog inspired in her the courage to take on all the challenges and training scenarios I presented her, change past habits and embrace new ones, and THRIVE on being a confident Leader.
Stella responded to the challenges with a similar enthusiasm always eager to learn an array of new skills, follow new direction, and become much more neutral to situations that would have triggered her in the past.
As a result, Lisa and Stella’s bond and trust in one another developed into one of the most beautiful and powerful relationships that I felt so honored to be a part of along their training journey.
Wishing a HUGE congratulations to Lisa and Stella on their success and a Happy Graduation. These two Super Stars killed it every step of the way!! 👊🤩🥳

There’s a word that comes to my mind every time I have the honor of working with a Leonberger and that word is “MAJESTIC”.
This breed truly is just that and this gorgeous girl is a perfect representation of that! 💖
Introducing Skadi who has joined the Little Wolf Pack for training.
This was a very special client case as they had one main behavioral challenge they needed help with and that was Skadi’s nervous reactions which translated into reactivity when guests entered the home.
To first place to start was advocating for Skadi and what her needs were in this situation. Below are some of the key points of direction I had the family take action on in order to bring Skadi calmness around guests.
1. Leadership presence by providing communication and direction for Skadi and advocating for her space between Skadi and guests: No Touch, Talk or Eye Contact.
2. Utilizing the crate as a tool to provide Skadi a safe place to be while guests were present.
3. Utilizing the Place Bed to give Skadi a safe place to go where she could be a part of the environment while doing a job and not having her space invaded.
4. Marking and rewarding not only calm behavior but a calm state of mind around the guests. The second part of that equation is most important.
5. Utilizing a slip leash to give Skadi direction and communication for a direction to follow.
6. Balancing on leash inclusion with guests while also Providing Skadi downtown and a quiet space away from guest interaction so as not to overwhelm her when guest energy ( kids) may be beyond her current threshold.
We made so much progress in her Behavior Evaluation setting both Skadi and her owners up for a lifetime of successful guests interactions by empowering them with the leadership, education, tools and actionable needed to make guests entering a calm and harmonious experience.
Welcome to the Little Wolf family Skadi! I have already received a few updates you are thriving with the new rules set into place and I could not be happier !

So…….I fell in love the other day. 💖 Meeting this little pup I was instantly head over heels!!
Everyone it is my pleasure to introduce to all of you the lovely Chai to the Little Wolf Family.
Chai is a 12 week old Rat Terrier who is fully caffeinated, filled to the brim with s***k, character for days and topped with a sweet sprinkle of shyness. The perfect mix to make this girl a perfect little pup.
I am so excited to be her trainer, mentor and guide along the training journey setting her up for success with amazing skills and a life of fulfillment.
This is one lucky pup as her owners are super dedicated to the training journey and started implementing structure , routine , rules , and mental challenge their first session.
I can’t wait to share Chai’s progress along the way. Be prepared for lots of insta story takeovers from this pint size beauty Queen.
Welcome to the Little Wolf Pack Chai, you are loved!! 🥰

Dog training is often thought of as "just for the dog" to shape obedience and behaviors.
While that is a large piece of the training journey, it does not tell the full story. The other important and main character in the story is also YOU, the human.
What is beautiful about the training journey is how much the experience teaches you about yourself.
For you as dog owner and leader of the experience, growth and development into a leadership mindset is an inevitable and crucial component to the story.
It's a journey of personal observations of the self.
For example:
When faced with a challenge, do you get impatient and short tempered or do you breathe deep, refocus and move forward in calmness?
Do you approach the responsibility and consistency of training with a "LETS DO THIS" mindset or is it more of a " I HAVE to do this " ?
For example:
"I HAVE TO WALK" my dog verses " I GET TO WALK" my dog have two very different vibrations to the words.
Do you allow fears to dictate your inner dialogue or do you approach things with a Leadership attitude of empowerment?
Do you train with your dog for the intention of shaping obedience solely or do you train with your dog with the intention of building the best relationship possible with your dog and the obedience is a result of putting in the work while building the relationship?
The approach between the two is very different.
One seeks quick results, the other is a lifestyle and the action is about taking the time needed to set you and your dog up for success.
The training journey is one of the BEST out there for personal development, but how much you grow and harness its power is entirely based on you and how open and willing you are to fully participate and allow it to shape you.
Everyone I am so excited to introduce to you Hank, the super handsome Rottweiler who has joined Little Wolf for training!
Hank is a super sweet dog young dog who is ready to gain confidence with new skills, jobs to follow and rules to adhere to .
This boy is BIG and I am over the moon as not only to I adore big dogs but Rotties hold a special place in my heart as I've owned one myself in the past.
Hank's owner is on board for the training journey and ready to take on her new leadership role.
I can't wait to get started working with this amazing dog and his dedicated owner.
Welcome to the Little Wolf Pack Hank!! ❤️
🐾
Huskies may be bred to pull a sled, but they can also be taught to follow a human.
Understanding a dog's breed and the drive characteristics associated with that breeds DNA is an important piece in the training process for determining the best form of communication, tools to use and motivation to develop in order to get the desired goals met with success.
Case in point, working with a Husky will inherently bring out the DNA traits called Sassy, Major Attitude, and Not Sure if I Feel Like It. LOL 😂
Sending a shout out to my client Barron and his husky Sasha for trusting in me when I promised through the training process I will ensure that Sasha will no longer pull you like a sled down the street. 👊 Done ✅
All of these dogs pictured in this pack have been trained and conditioned to be neutral around other dogs. In their past, some would have been overexcited and others would have practiced reactivity in the midst of their fellow canines.
Part of their training program and behavior modification involved plenty of structured pack work with other dogs while providing calm leadership guidance, assigning plenty of jobs to do to and clear direction on the focused task at hand.
One rule that the dogs and their owners had as part of their training was "No Meet n Greets" ( nose to nose sniffing ) or saying "Hi" to other dogs.
Not only would this lead to some of the dogs feeling pressure and resorting to past behaviors of reactivity, or others getting overexcited and forgetting their neutrality, but it would also not be adding value to the obedience goals at hand which is always about being neutral to the environment.
Having your dog be social is not about "meeting" every dog you see or cross paths with. Instead it's about teaching your dog how to be in a balanced state of mind and calm around other dogs by working them around other dogs.
Pack walking is a great way to do this and something every dog owner can do whether it's with a friend, neighbor, joining a community pack walking social group, hiring a pack walking service, or simply going to a park where other dogs are present and training your dog in that environment.
Dog There, Don't Care is the goal to work towards. 🤩
To the ridiculously handsome dog that stole my heart:
Thank you for trusting in me Charlie, it was an absolute honor being your trainer!!
I am so proud of everything we accomplished together and Happy Graduation !! Love you boy! 💖
❤️🐾
"We got a dog we knew we needed the skills to manage in order to enjoy our life with him and also be able to give him a good life".
A beautiful quote and statement from my amazing clients Dave and Lis who graduated this week with honors alongside their stellar dog Charlie.
It's a thought process like theirs that brings me so much joy and warms my heart as it shows true love for a dog when the awareness is present that dog ownership comes with a responsibility to be able to fulfill the individual breeds needs.
His owners had never owned a high drive breed or certainly one the size of Charlie so upon his foster to adoption, they wanted the best training possible to set him up for success.
I remember the first day I met Charlie for his Behavior Evaluation. I saw this big, goofy, sweet, intelligent dog with the most gorgeous amber eyes staring back at me ready for direction and it was love at first sight. 🥰
Everything about him from his sound temperament, happy go lucky attitude, high eagerness to learn , and drive for the work showcased Charlie as a great family dog with limitless potential .
Throughout his foundational obedience series each week he grew in skill and charm, equally !!
Dave and Lis were so dedicated to the training journey and an absolute pleasure to coach, as their unwavering commitment to their new leadership roles shined with each new homework assignment given .
As a result, Charlie now sits tall and proud beside his owners with a solid foundation of obedience, new confidence, skills, and an even bigger grin than when we started.
Dave, Lis and Charlie, Thankyou for choosing me to be your trainer, mentor and guide along this wonderful journey. It has been an honor and I'm so exited for working with you in the fall on Charlie's next challenge of a deep dive into structured dog socialization
So proud of you guys!! 💖🤩👌
🥇
There's a new Bull Dog in town and she's dressed to impress with her gorgeous brindle coat that is OH SO STRIKING!!
Everyone please give a warm welcome to the sweetest English Bully Maeve who has joined Little Wolf for the best training on a path to successful obedience!
This girl has a larger than life personality and knows how to throw her weight around, so I am so excited to to guide Maeve along her training program teaching her how to throw that power in all the right directions!
She has already made great progress in just her first session learning Threshold manners and the fine art of a calm meet n' greet with guests verses her past personal version which involved a bulldozed style meet n' greet lol. Girls a power house and now she has options for better use of all that power! 💥
Welcome to the Little Wolf family Maeve! It is an honor to be your trainer and I'm so excited for what beautiful, positive behavioral changes and adventures are in your future ! 💖🤩💯
🐺
The power of focused, consistent training is REAL.
The change it creates in shaping positive behaviors is REAL.
The calmness it shapes in creating a balanced state of mind is REAL.
It is my pleasure to showcase Raven, the stunning Golden Retriever Husky mix whose dog reactivity is now in her past.
In its place, in her present time and future are now plenty of beautiful experiences spent in balance and harmony with her fellow canines, forming bonds and relationships through the safety and structure of working together.
Welcome to the Little Wolf Pack Walks Raven!!! You have come so far along your training journey and I am so beyond proud of you. 🤩
The pack loves you already and having you be a part of our crew is a dream come true! Luv you girl. 💖
🐺
✨
To make real changes, you first have to believe it's possible. Achieving goals has just as much to do with the ability to visualize them coming true as it does taking the consistent action to make it happen.
The belief in the dream and the actionable steps to get there are both essential tools to the vision coming to life.
Sending a very proud shoutout to my client Daisy for the amazing progress she has been making with her Husky | Golden Retriever mixes Blue and Raven .
Her list of goals to accomplish with her pack have been tackled and accomplished one by one as a result of her leadership courage, belief in her abilities, dedication to the journey and having passion to the daily commitment of action needed to see her goals through.
Knowing that the power for change comes from within is the Gamechanger for Magic to happen. ✨
Congratulations Daisy, Blue and Raven for all the beautiful successes we have accomplished and will continue to accomplish. I believe in you and your dreams !!
❤️
👊
I always feel so grateful as I get to work with the most amazing, dedicated clients!!
Sending a HUGE congratulations to my recent graduates Debbie, Dave and their wonderful Bernadoodle Macchiato who completed their Foundational Obedience series with honors.
When I first started training with them, Macchiato had a lot of pent up nervous energy that was being expressed in ways that were not productive to his safety, balance or relationship with his owners.
Through building obedience skills, creating a ton of structure utilizing the crate and place bed, building his confidence with clear rules to follow and empowering his owners with Leadership, this boy did a complete 360 as a result of his training program.
What I love the most is Debbie and Dave's feedback at graduation :
"We finally feel confident to share our life with our dog and take him new places knowing he has the skills to be calm and we have the leadership to direct him".
Macchiato's owners are coffee lovers ( hence his name) so we celebrated their graduation at an amazing coffee shop practicing calmness with the structure of place work.
I am so proud of how far this team has come and everything we accomplished together along the journey. And hey, to find other people as obsessed as me about coffee is always a win win in my book!
Congrats Dave, Debbie and Macchiato!!
🎉

Dogs are always ready to listen. The question is whether the communication you are giving to your dog is clear to them and in a way they can understand.
Remember: dogs don't know English and they can't read our minds. Speaking too much or in sentences will train your dog to tune you out. Keep it simple with cues and specific words you have taught or are teaching them. This avoids the Charlie Brown affect of conversation between you and your dog.
Be patient, teach through repetition, give your word value with consistency and keep training sessions short, engaging and fun.
You will see a world of difference in how your dog listens to you by doing the above .
My client Liz wanted one thing. She wanted to be able to take her dog Elvis to a winery and have him be calm, well behaved and enjoy his company stress free.
So that's what we did . Each session was training for the end result.....drinking wine at a winery. I truly cater to my clients needs and each training program is customized , unique and individual. I am here for YOU!
Anyone who knows me understands my love and obsession with huskies, owning a charming one myself, so you can imagine my joy upon meeting this stunning, fabulous boy!
Introducing the magical Siberian Husky Sasha who has joined the Little Wolf pack for training.
Sasha is 6 months old and starting his journey full of eagerness to gain the skills he needs to succeed in the real world and share life moments his family.
I am greatly looking forward to helping Sasha build his confidence around people and work through his general timidness, helping bring out in its place the happy go lucky, comical husky side that I know exists inside.
In addition to teaching him all his foundational commands, he will also learn crate training , how to walk on lead without pulling ( he is currently very good at that ) and also how to enjoy safe structured socialization with other dogs. ( My husky Aura will be so expected to support in this process! )
Sasha is curious about engaging in play but a bit shy and reserved, so building his play drive and bringing out his free spirit in play will also be a focus I am looking forward to working with him on.
This is also Sasha's pet parents first experience owning a dog larger than 20 pounds, so I am honored for the opportunity to teach them the leadership and skills necessary to have the best relationship possible with their dog, as well as how to properly fulfill his Husky breed needs so all are happy!
Sasha, you are amazing am both honored and excited to be your trainer and develop your fullest potential! .
Welcome to the Little Wolf family boy! You already have my heart ♥️
