With Eid-al-Adha approaching, Rahima Foundation is collecting Qurbani meat for our clients. We strongly encourage you to donate your Qurbani locally; under the current economy, our clients are struggling to make ends meet and will not be able to afford Halal meat without your help. Your Qurbani donations will be greatly appreciated by them, and will bring extra joy and happiness to their Eid tables.

Starting this year, Rahima Foundation has partnered with the UNHCR (United Nations Commissioner for Refugees) to help refugees abroad. Once Rahima’s local Zakat needs are met, Rahima will be sending the remaining Zakat to UNHCR to distribute to 1 of the 13 countries that they are working with, wherever the need is greatest. Fulfilling the local needs of our community will continue to be our first priority.

Please continue to donate your Zakat at https://www.rahima.org/donate. InshAllah, you will be helping provide for the needs of our community as well as for the needs of our brothers and sisters overseas. We appreciate your generosity, and may Allah reward you.

This past Monday, the night of the 9th of Ramadan, Rahima Foundation hosted an iftar for the families of our beloved staff and volunteers to celebrate this blessed month together. Thank you to Natasha's Treats for the beautiful cake and to Holyland Restaurant & catering-Santa Clara for catering the delicious food! We enjoyed it very much and appreciate your efforts.

With this iftar event, we wanted to recognize staff and volunteers’ hard work and show how grateful we are to have them on our team. We are especially grateful to Founder Habibe Husain and her husband, President Ishrat Husain for leading Rahima over the past 31 years and setting a strong example of leadership and compassion. InshAllah, we will continue to serve the community with passion this Ramadan, and throughout the year ahead. We pray that this month is easy for everyone and that all our duas are answered.
