I listen to Bakes in Ottawa when I can, he’s happy there with the custom LV Skate soakers I made him 😂

Hopefully a more lucrative TV deal happens, and close the deal with the city to keep Sharks in San Jose.

I mean they can play in Tech CU (if all else fails) like the Coyotes did at mullet arena last year.

On a personal note, David Maley was huge in the 90’s growing the game in San Jose () when it was at on 10th/Tully near my old shop.

Last photo is me practicing at Dave’s original two-roller rink facility at Rollin’ Ice after I bought my first ever goalie equipment purchase (Heaton Brodeur HIV Blocker) from Power Play Hockey (former hockey store by Shark Tank, I believe Calvin just took over from original owner Brian)

Do I regret NOT buying a webTv instead of that blocker in 1996?! (For reference, all my friends bought webTV’s/PS1)

Hockey was never just a sport to Essan, it’s his life.

He earned the money fixing rental gear and other people’s equipment since middle school.

Listening to Sharks Hockey back when KFRC/KFOX and calling the post game radio shows was something we don’t have now but there’s a resurgence of fandom.
