Join us to practice your English, get to know other students, and talk about different topics—all in a casual setting! Bring your lunch, snacks, and friends; we never give any homework! Sessions will be held at ENGR 338 with Lynn (Mon) and Warshani (Fri). Drop-ins welcome!

Sports Day | Mon&Tues | 5-7p
Join International Gateways as we play all kinds of sports! Soccer, volleyball, badminton, ultimate frisbee, and lawn games--there's something for everyone. We'll meet at the AS Lawn, come join us today after class!
NOTE: Despite the recent rain and sun going down sooner, we will continue to play sports! We are currently exploring alternative weekly events since the sun goes down earlier, but we'll continue as usual for now. Stay tuned for updates!

Fri 11/06 | Downtown Outing: Movie Night! (Spectre) | 5:15-8:15p | $7
This week we'll be watching Spectre, a James Bond 007 movie! It's a high-octane action action film with dramatic elements about an English spy who is trying to find the truth behind a secret evil organization. There's lot of high speed chases and lots of shootouts! This is a long film of 153 minutes and is rated PG-13. Watch the trailer at .
Camera 12 is Downtown San Jose's local theater and is only a few blocks down from campus! We'll walk together from Clark Hall at 5p when classes get out and have dinner/snacks before since the movie's at 7p, but if you'd like to meet us there the address for the theater is 201 S Second St, San Jose, CA 95113.
Future Activities
Fri 11/13 | International Quiz (IQ)! | 12:30-4p | FREE
Every semester the International House puts on a special global trivia event! If you don't have class in the afternoon, get together with your classmates to form teams to compete against other groups of local and international students! Best of all, participants get to eat buffet (all you can eat) style at the Dining Commons for FREE! More info and sign up at . And don't worry, we'll help place you into a team if you don't have one~
This event takes place at the Dining Commons on campus at 8th and San Salvador (near the Aquatic Center). We'll walk there together from Clark Hall at 12:30p when classes get out and head to the DC together. Again, participants will get free food for joining--don't pack your lunch on this day!
